For me the flavor is the #1 reason to loose. It's much more subdued.

It doesnt seem so much subdued to me (well maybe at first), but there is a distinct lack of bitter. I dont know if I am tasting the portion bag, the stuff sprayed on it or what, but portions just cant compete for me. Take ettan for example. Ettan portions are ok if a little boring but the los is the bomb. SO GOOD

For the last while I notice more and more how the portions have a bitter taste after a while. Maybe its just my PH level or something. I still like them but I spit them out after about 30 minutes or so. I didnt even notice it till I tried los. Damn you los!

I use 100% los. I'm probably an extreme case of loserdom - I used a few cans of portions, then tried los and never even finished the can of portions I had open. Since then (a few months I guess) I've bought and used nothing but los.

The main advantage to me is price - it's almost half the price of portions. Even factoring in some loss from bits falling on the table and getting stuck to your fingers, it's much cheaper to use los. I've had no problems handbaking, apart form skruf stark los. With all swedish match that I've tried, I can just grab a bit and mould it. I also don't have a problem with appearance - my SO and friends aren't squeamish and my workplace is relaxed enough that it's irrelavnt.

I also like being able to choose the size of a pinch - often at work I'll just use a small pinch (perhaps sometimes less than a gramme), but sitting at home I'll have a big lip full.

I don't really get much flavour out of snus, so that's not a factor for me.

            1. Remarkably less salt with los as compared to portions, at least with the two los I have so far tried.

            2. Partly due to #1 above, remarkably less 'burn.'

            3. Subtle flavor. I don't need the flavor to knock me up side my head. Oftentimes, less can be more.

            4. Price. It takes me 5 days to get through a can of minis, which is 10 grams of snus. A tin of los would last a very long time for me, particularly given I use smaller amounts of los, I would imagine, than the amount found in the mini-portions.

For me, the advantages of los is I can make a tiny pea-sized pris. This leaves me with LESS nicotine, which is exactly what I am after.
