Ringing in the new year with my first taste of Granit Explosive. General-ish but without the strong black pepper. I think I prefer Odens No. 3 in this theme, but it is nice. I can definitely confirm what others have said about the comfort of Granit portions - this one is super soft.

I think I will wrap up the night with a recurring nightcap, a hillbilly mini (a portion cut in half with cigar scissors) of Thunder Ultra Brandy Alexander. Since it is a holiday, a belt of W. L. Weller may be in order, too.

It tastes just like General White portion but is is much comfier in the lip, when the portion gets a bit moister you don't feel it and it doesn't move around, also you don;t get the rubbing you can get if you use a lot of white portions. I have just finished a week of general white and the feel is noticeably different in a good way.
