Finally decided to try this... saw a mention that it is a
"dessert" snus and by the overly-sweet maple-like
flavor the description fits so far.

UPDATE: Whew! After one-half hour -- 30 whole minutes with this -- I don't think I'll
be able to get rid of the taste in my mouth and on my lips for the rest of the day.

Back to the General Black Onyx with the hope that it's strong enough to bring back my
flavor buds. If I had a really sweet tooth this might be passable but, instead, I'll just pass!
