I really haven't given General a good try. I've only used a few portions I have from a sample pack. I do love Grov and Ettan. I have some Generals in the freezer though.

General lös ekstra sterk. I'm wondering why you americans tend to like other brands than general better like ettan. General is the most common and appreciated snus here in norway and probably in sweden too.

I've tried several different types like skruf, general, RL, ettan and kronan, but I find the general the best tasting snus.

Tastes are individual, but I find General overrated. For something very close, but imo better, I prefer Granit. The cut's a little coarser, and the citrus a touch bolder. Also, General starts to taste strange to me after it's been open awhile. It gains the characteristics of a rubber balloon. It gets a sort of rubbery taste, and that makes the citrus taste like the anti stick powder they put in balloons :^D

I'm with you on this.

I have a deep love for General ES Los. I find it has huge character and bold flavors...not just extra nic like some products such as say Thunder ES Los (Although I will admit I enjoy Thunder Frosted portions to the point that I buy it by the half roll hehe). I get down with other General as well like Onyx and reg los...but not nearly as much as ES Los. The General flavor profile of salt and citrus just agrees with my palate. Heck, I even buy the Wintergreen by the roll Im an American who grew up partially in Italy and has lived on a few continents so my tastes are all over the place...shrug, who knows.

I dig Ettan as well, and several others, but find some just too soft or muddled for my tastes. Ettan is great in the morning over coffee for me, but too mellow for all day use for me.

skruf stark portion. only my second stark since nick and johnny, and this i much prefer, both taste wise and the immense nic hit that didnt leave me feeling ill.
