Röda Lacket white portion. Managed to grab one of the "fabulous" cans.
Haven't had one of these yet. It smells great. It tastes--
--well, it's a white portion, so I can't tell you how it tastes. Yet. It's like waiting for an order from Northerner. No, that's unfair--to Northerner.
Wait, it's coming; I think it's--
--hold on, I'm lining the label back up. There, it looks fabulous again.
--hmm--
I just gotta get another whiff from that can. Mmm. If it tastes anything like it smells, it's going to be a winner. Okay, just let me straighten up that label once more.
Woah. It has a flavor. Darned if it doesn't favor Claq Qui. Oh, I guess there's a reason for that.
(More sniffing and realigning.) Okay, it does resemble its big brother (sister?), but Röda Lacket seems to be its own animal. It's probably premature to say at this point, but it seems less murky, with a clearer taste from the tobacco. It also doesn't kick my ass as hard. Still has that mysterious dark fruitiness, that hint of licorice, that I get from Claq Qui.
Okay, plenty of flavor now. One more sniff from the can--ya know, I can't say for sure, not even having finished my first portion of it, but I have a feeling I'll be ordering more of this. I don't believe I would want it all the time, but right now this tastes like Ettan with a dark background of fruit and a little bit of licorice. That will mean different things to different people, but to me it means it's good. Very good.
Maybe still a little murky. Now to get another whiff of the can--
