Thunder Frosted los (eases a sinus headache and gives me some Vitamin N at the same time - my kind of two-fer).
I have a somewhat similar view of General Original as alopezg1 (the pepper extract is a bit over the top for me), although I have only had portions that were past their prime (plus, I like yeast spread). The Jak's Classic I tried yesterday had some similar notes, but more orangy and without the pepper. It looks like, for now, I prefer my bergamot a lot more subtle. Next up in that area for me are Skruf los and Odens No. 3 los.
I also like Marmite Kazenzakis.... but nor farts, at least not in my mouth that is.
The thing i dont understand is all this talk of bergamont and pepper and tobacco
when to me the taste seems unequivocally that of Marmite .... with subtle notes
of fart
I'm having General original portion...the fartless version...slight burn of high quality tobacco kissed with bergamot oil. A kiss from heaven right in your mouth!!
@alopzeg1 Swedish Match lists pepper as one of its snus ingredients online, and I believe I can taste pepper in General portions pretty clearly. I could easily be fooled, though - that is the norm. Not getting farts out of it, though. In any case, it is always interesting to me to see how people notice different flavors or scents in the same item. I am a big fan of Oden's (on deck for this weekend's enjoyment), which I hear a lot of people call peppery. To me, I taste something a lot closer to paprika or maybe a distinct kind of chili, but not pepper.
Well, it's damn near impossible to talk about that kind of stuff without sounding like an asshole - "hints of 12-year-old Western Ugandan vanilla bean" and all of that - so I'll stop rambling. I like snus. That's a better summary than anything else I could do.
