Should I buy 40 cans of General Loose for a USB fridge?

There's a good deal going on at getsnus - 40 cans of General Loose for 70 USD and a free General USB fridge. That's a lot of loose - I'm more of a portion guy. I wonder if I'd have enough space in my freezer or if I could even use it all before it went stale. Suppose I could trade some. Or it could just be my mega pre-PACT Apocalypse Order. What do you guys think - good deal for me or no?

(I probably only use loose 3 or 4 times a week and only at home. I just like the convenience of portions. I suppose having four logs of the stuff would be a good incentive to use more..)

(Also, being getsnus, do you guys think the reason it's so cheap is because it's getting ready to expire? If so, how big a deal is that if I'm buying such a large amount?)

That's a crappy deal if you don't really use lös. Get this for $20...

And buy some snus you'll really use.

$70 is a great deal on the snus but if you do not use los I would not get it. I am not sure how well those usb fridges work anyway. If you are going to do it do it for the snus not the fridge. BTW you can also get 1 roll for the same per tin price $1.75. Also I would think the exp. dates are not going to be very long on these tins.

I am pretty sure that Getsnus has that USB fridge deal on all of their General products. You can get 40 cans of portions and get the fridge as well.

Getsnus has general loose on for 1.75$ per can right now.

And the fridge is included with 40 cans.

I would get sick of General after using all of that snus.

Not to piss in your cheerios, but those USB fridges suck.

                  I bought one before.

It got cold right on the metal heat sink on the bottom. That's it. If you started out with cold snus it may keep it cold for a bit longer than leaving on a your desk, but that's it.

The one I had was for a single aluminum can. Since a snus can is larger and the metal plate is recessed the snus never even touched the cold part. The exterior was plastic and provides no real insulation.

The backside throws off a good deal of heat actually. I'd hate to leave it next to a cooking laptop.

Perhaps the General branded one is different, but I suspect the logo is the only change. For 40 cans I'd wait for a better freebie.

I already brought 3 and gave 1 fridge to the secretary to keep her Dr. Pepper in. It is a great deal. I just freeze the rolls.

Agreed with bakerbarber that the usb fridge is a piece of crap. Just a couple months back, whichever person or persons posts in the first-person at getsnus.com, as in "I like to start my day with Skruf Original White Portion." on their current Black and White Sampler, actually posted an apology for offering the usb fridge as a for-sale item. I think that post has been removed, now that the nonfunctional fridge is now a promotional bonus. Still, point is, why pay 70 USD on a product that you don't enjoy, for a fridge that doesn't work? FFS dude, a usb bus distributes 0.5 amps of power through each port. How much cooling could that possibly support? Answer: very little.

But then again, I can always use $1.75 cans of General. The fridges are just a by-product.

Yeah, I'm gonna pass. It seemed like a good idea at the time - but there's no way I'd use that much General. The USB fridge I'd really want just for the collectibility/curiousity. Thanks for everyone's words. This can be closed..

I voted yes, not because of the usb fridge although it is cool, but for the fact that if you buy them at that price it comes to like 1.90 a can, which is great especially for general los. I bought a roll from getsnus of it and thought it was such a great deal. If you use it often and like it, then why not get 40 cans. Throw them in the freezer and hold onto them.

Why not just make a small snus fridge that plugs into a electrical outlet?
