LS is a somewhat unique snus to me -- I've tried just about all the snus out there, and I really can't compare it to anything else taste-wise. I'm not saying it tastes better than all other snus, it's just different. Not the usual bergamotte-based General clone
I havn't tried the 'new' LS yet ... is there any difference besides the tin design? Did they change the portions in any way (size, material)?

The new Luckies don't taste any different than the old Luckies, at least, not to this sophisticated and trained palate. :P
The new can is still as big but slightly lighter than the old all-metal can, and it's odd to have the snustray on the bottom, but you learn to deal with it just fine.
I'm on my first can from the order, and noticed that it has some seriously flat portions that stay wafer-thin even when the can was left out unchilled overnight. I still get the same taste and nicotine buzz out of 'em, though, so I don't feel shorted.
So to sum up: Yay, Luckies are back.

I sent a message to Northerner yesterday about the new Lucky Strike Bold (strong), asking when they will be getting it and they replied today:
No we don't know yet, but hopefully soon.)

one for Sweden where they use Swedish Match Distribution

one for Norway where BAT handles the distribution

Right now, no one in Sweden can get Lucky Strike Bold unless they drive across the border into Norway to buy it.
