Wedges?

I know for sure that General Onyx & General Sterk both come in the wedge shape but I just received an e-mail from Northerner which showed General White also in that style (see below).

The image on getsnus.com however shows just the usual random packaging rather than the star formation.

I'm guessing that General have changed it somewhere along the way and that the Northerner one is correct, can anyone confirm?

Also, does anyone know of any other types that come in the wedge shape?

They're not really wedge shaped. They just kind of get mashed into wedges because of how they're arranged in the can. The dimensions of the portion aren't really different than any of the other portions I've tried.

That said, I'm not sure what other types come arranged like that. Onyx is the only one that I have seen.

Triumph Original and Mint come in wedges like that. They are made by Swedish Match in Sweden.

I've still yet to receive any General White that comes in the star formation. This was first advertised months ago, and I heard of two or three folks getting it back then, but I have yet to see it.

Oh well, I'll update with what I get since I just ordered a couple of cans (along with Gen. Onyx & Gen. Sterk).

I managed to get my 24 open cans down to 11 that I'm actually using and I'm out of normal strength white portions (except GR#2 but they're not really all-dayers) so I feel free enough to order again now! I hope they're the wedges, I love the shape/hardness of those.

None of the General I received from Getsnus so far has been in the star formation, though most of the folks that claim to have found the star formation got their orders from Getsnus.

For the record, I received an order of General White from Northerner about three weeks ago and they were the plain "tossed in the can haphazardly" formation.

Just to throw in yet another website, I've actually ordered from buysnus; they're my preferred because their processing speed is ultra fast* and I like their tax inclusive pricing (only applies to us EU suckers). Northerner's website is "prettier" and their prices are better but I've waited days for them to turn around an order even when everything was allegedly in stock.

I'll advise whether buysnus currently have the star formation when I receive them.

* Ordered today at about 1.30pm and got a shipping confirmation at 2.12pm. Now it's in the hands of the postal service... hmm.

[EDIT - tip for EU customers with buysnus - order in SEK rather than USD to avoid a double currency conversion, it reduces the price considerably]

in my last order from getsnus i got one can of General stark and its all in the wedge fan in the can its pretty tasty toooo

I've had a can of all three, Onyx, Stark, and White, and have had all three come in the star pattern.
I think it depends on when/maybe where the snus was manufactured.
I love the shape of the snus when it's been wedged in like that, no more problems with a lopsided portion!

If these come in wedges, I'll have my final selection (until my tastes change that is): General's Onyx, Sterk & White. Plus Grov Svart as a bonus - not wedges but just too good to pass up...
I can start ordering rolls and not spend hours pouring over all of the choices.
