    Camel Snus (Swedish version)

I got a can of Camel Swedish Regular portion from Northerner.

And wow it is actually quite nice, a traditional swedish flavour with bergamot and very moist dark tobacco.

I would hope any American's who have a bad opinion of Camel Snus based on their experience with Camel Frost try out their Swedish offering it is quite nice.

I love Swedish Camel. In fact, the whites are now one of my top 5, buying a roll along with Retro White next order. I have a regular in right now.

I like it pretty well. It tastes like a milder PM 1847 to me. I prefer the 1847, but they did a good job with the snus.

Just so there is no confusion

Camel in the USA is RJ Reynolds
Camel in Sweden is Japan Tobacco International.

        2 completely seperate comapnies
        2 completely different products

As far as the USA is concerned the JTI Camel is considered a conterfeit product and will never be sold here in the states. If PACT ever passes and importing becomes illegal you won't be able to buy it here anymore.
(If that does happen make sure you stock up beforehand)

          No comparison.

          IMO
          1847 tastes like Windex
          Camel JTI tastes good.

I'll take Camel over 1847 anyday. (To each his own)

I read someone describing 1847 as General Silver hosed down with ammonia. I'd say that was pretty apt.

Nope, no comparison at all with the Camel. Camel shares that same basic tobacco/salt/bergamot flavor that so many other brands do, nothing out of the ordinary. It's not bad at all, it's just lost in a sea of so many other similar brands to me.

Phillip Morris 1847, though, has a unique flavor. No one could ever accuse it of being derivative, that's for sure. ops:

Indeed. But leave it to RJ Reynolds and the US gov. to allow people to shovel that hideous stuff anyways. BTW, could someone refresh me on PACT??
Camel Frost/Mellow. Keep a pile in a glass case for when the apocalypse comes, then use it as fish bait.

I liked the portions as well. Very nice flavor. I gave the majority of my can to a park ranger while my wife and I were camping last week. He helped us out with some site issues (no power!) and I noticed he was a copenhagen fan. Didn't get to catch him again before we left, but hopefully made a new convert
