Ebay: Antique American Snus

I randomly came across this listing and was surprised to see SNUS on the lids.

We had quite a few brands of snus here in the states. They were imported by the Swedish Tobacco Monopoly (later Swedish Match) to meet the demands of the huge influx of Swedish immigrants here. Anchor (Ainkor) was the biggest snus brand in the world prior to the Swedish government taking control of the industry, and most of its sales came from outside of Europe. (Ettan was the best seller in Sweden). Other brands that were imported here were Seal, Grön Lacket (which was the sister brand to Röda Lacket), and F&L. There were others, but the two most common finds for old American snus cans will usually be Anchor and Seal.
