right on, sucks though no one around here sells snus locally though. I don't consider Camel SNUS real. I Just got my white sampler. Roda Lacket is freaking awesome. My mystery can was General White Portion which was kinda lame considering I got one in the sampler. Anybody ever get anything different besides General as a mystery can?

There may come a day when the only place you can buy tobacco products will be at a tobacco store.
I like the people at Tobacco Express. They're friendly and cooperative. When R.J. Reynolds dropped Viceroy, they had several good suggestions for a replacement.Comment

Don't they charge you guys outrageous prices at tobacco stores? The place near me charges six bucks for a can of general.
I'd rather just order mine online.

I've never bought snus from a tobacco store. I figure if and when my local store starts selling better brands of snus, then their prices will be about like cigarette prices. The last carton of Marlboros I bought at Tobacco Express was less than $39, tax and all. So snus should cost about the same as you'd pay at getsnus.com.
Not so outrageous. Tobacco is all they sell. They have to compete to stay in business.Comment

When I said my local tobacco store had Thunder Wintergreen Portion overpriced, they were selling it for $3.99 + 9% tax, for a total of $4.35. Getsnus.com has it for $3.25.
I feel sure that if they were selling more snus, the price would come down to about what getsnus sells it for. Even if it were .25 or .50 cents higher, I'd still buy locally.Comment

OK, I just made a big snus breakthrough.
I now realize I have been doing it wrong all along. I've been sticking the portion to far back on the side, thus making way too much salty juice.
I was sitting here playing in the chat room(why don't we have a snus chatroom, it seems active enough here, snuffhouse has one?), and I thought I'd stick the portion right in the front top of my mouth. Not dead center, but right to the very side, but still in the front part. Well, it's been over a half hour now, and hardly any juice at all. This is so much better. Though I think it makes it noticable now, I think, at least somehwhat.
But that's OK. Much better experience, I am not gagging of salty juice. God, these words may conjure different ideas.Comment

I still can't get over I'd been doing it wrong all this time. No wonder I needed a spit(drool)cup, and really was not all that much liking it, and wondering if I was gonna quit, and kinda mad I'd made a new order. This was the reason I quit it before. I was sticking the portion in the back side, instead of the front. But as a newbie, I really recommend to put it the top front of the mouth, though not dead center. Also, this way, there was no juice at all to speak of for me. Today I stuck in a Odens Classic Kanel, while we took the pets to the vet, and it was perfect. Oh! Just as I type this the mail arrived and it's my order from Getsnus, wow, I think it took one day to get here! My mystery can is Grov Los, which I did not expect, as I ordered the white portion sampler. I don't have an ice-tool or pris master, so I guess since I have this, I'll look into the baking procedure. Well, that's cool, I said before if I get some los, it will be a learning experience, but really, since I ordered all portions, I think I'd rather I'd gotten portions, but as someone else said, getting it free is best, as maybe I'd not have ever gotten a los on my own. I'll try an Ettan White next. Also got another General Sampler pack, which is doubly cool. Go Getsnus!Comment
