:P nah he agrees to selling the "monster" (it's literally as big as a loveseat)! We really could get great viewing from like a 37 inch or is it 38? Our living room is really too damn small for a 50 but we had it before the move.

I did lol at the "reeled in" though.

I'm definitely not out of snus, just out of my favorite kind (dang 14 days so far from Northerner) so I can attest to that. I guess I should have paid more attention to the feedback about how long shipping is taking now!

Answer: You ain't ordering jack shit for at least a month and your DLP is now for sale
Lol! I still got my order in! 44 cans(15 are for the friend I mentioned).

And yes I will greatly miss my giant friend, but had I done a little more research before the purchase, I would have probably went with a 36" or 40" LCD.

That bastard is HUGE, and replacing a $100 bulb every 1 1/2 to 2 years is a pain in the ass!

So the moral of the story is don't buy a DLP and get hooked on snus!

        PS-anybody wanna buy a DLP?!? 8)

Yeah I have a little Sanyo 19" that I bought for the bedroom about 7 years ago. I think I paid like $100 for it on sale at Wally World, and it still works like the day it was bought! Go figure. 8)

My dad's in your situation right now. The TV in the living room just went, and his bedroom has the only other one in the house. Considering his room is sweltering hot in July (it's NY, so the heat's not too bad, but the humidity will kill you) with no A/C, and that TV's also on the way out. Plus there's no chance of him getting a new one.

I used to be a TV junkie, but I found it getting too ridiculous for me. Now, if I hear of a show that's actually good, I'll just wait for the library to get the DVDs, or buy them myself. Now, music, the internet, and books eat up my time.
