I would buy a snus called NINJA too. That would be so pimp!

Tried a mini mint and loved it. Wish it came in a larger size with more nicotine.

The wintergreen is probably okay if you like wintergreen, but I've never cared for it. Won't be buying any at all.

I liked the wintergreen, but I'm very new to snus, and haven't got to try many flavors yet.

So far I've found that the flavors with less salt are my favorites. Is there a snus with pure tobacco flavor and no salt?

I don't like the idea of holding a salt pill in my lip. A little bit is okay because it adds to the flavor, but more than a bit is too much.

How long has it been yet, you using?? The body just needs time to acclimate and soon, you just don't really taste the salt. Folks need upwards of about a month before their body is completely used to the salt.

If it has been less that for you, don't overstress it, just give yourself a bit more time.

Only about a week now. Maybe you're right. I'll keep on using the salty ones because after the initial salty taste, they get pretty good.

I used to hate general original when I first bought it, only about two weeks ago actually, but now I'm popping one in my mouth whenever I need a good nic hit.
                  Mini mint rules though.

I just tried my first mini mint last night, and it was good. I was surprised at how long the flavor lasted. I stuck it in, started playing a game, and like an hour and a half later it was still going. The nic hit was a little weak though, but the flavor made up for it. I have a friend who is trying to quit smoking with Camel Frost, and I'm going to give him some mini mints this weekend so he can see the light like I have!

I consider myself a newbie still. I tried snus a little while back, but didn't take to it. It seemed to make me feel ill, and I don't know if that happens to new people, but I think it may have been the juice. This is my 3rd straight day snusin', and I am liking it, but to be honest, I keep a drool cup handy, for the initial minutes... later on it's fine. I don't dislike the taste, I'm just cautious I don't want to get a stomach upset, or feel ill, and I haven't since I'll drool for a bit after I 1st put it in. I think it helps to have a drink of some kind too. It is pretty salty though... is the sodium an amount one should be concerned about? But overall, I'm liking the experience. I right now have a Roda Lacket in. White Portions are my faves I am thinking. I was never a big oral tobacco user, but the immediate difference I notice is snus is not harsh or stinging like American dip pouches at all, and I get no gum irritation at all. Nor do I feel the need to rush and brush my teeth or even rinse my mouth out.

                        Tom,

Don't worry, in a few more days of snusing, you'll be used to the juice and won't need the cup any longer. The first time I used snus, it knocked me on my @ss. It took me about a week to get used to the juice and to the salt. Like Sage has said, eventually you won't even notice the salt.

It took me about 2 weeks to get over the salt of snus. I never add salt to my food so it was a tough adjustment. So far the lowest salt for me has been Ettan's but I came across that after a few weeks so my impression may be off on this.

I have yet to see any concrete information on the true amount of salt added to snus but I'm sure it varies by brand. Lucky Strike so far to me seems really salty. Personally I've had a running regular and a flavored snus going, otherwise IMO you get sick of either all the flavors or the saltiness of the originals.

I've seen amounts ranging from 3% to 5% salt, but I'm sure they're just estimates.

Agreed. I threw in an order of LS whites with my last order as I thought I should try it after all this time. Brought it to work today and I have to say I am finding the salt a bit off putting.

None of the other brands I've used, or order on a regular basis, have been this salty. I have to say though that I find most of the F&L brands are either too salty or have a distinct house flavour that I just don't enjoy. Ah well can't like them all I guess.

What's the purpose of the salt? It seems all the snus I have had is rather salty, and I wonder if it'd be better without salt at all, or a very smaller amount?
