Klondike
I tried a can of Klondike that I found at a local smoke shop, and it smelled, tasted, and felt like slightly less harsh American dip. It tasted nothing at all like Swedish snus. I think marketing wise, American snus would have to taste different, but I think the marketing plan should be to implement a spectrum of flavors that transition from something like Camel over to pure Swedish type.
By the way, anyone try the Skoal snus. One hint, don't bother. The tobacco is so dry its crispy, I could detect no nicotine, and the fake flavor strip was overpowering for about 10 secs then went away. M by Mocca anis is the best flavored I've had, and I think it could sell here.
