I usually prefer strong or extra strong variety snus, but I recently started using ettan and it is surprisingly potent.
It doesn't quite hammer me like thunder will sometimes or general ES, but I get this great uplifting feeling from it.
I am not sure what the exact point is of starting the thread, just wanted to share the joy.
I already have 60+ cans in the freezer and I only use anywhere between 3 and 5 portions per day, but I am still wondering if I should order a 10 roll (with the PACT looming on the horizon and all).

Ettan is the only 8mg snus I use.Today I chain-snussed Claq Qui & Ettan portions all day.Ettan is as close as I've found to a straight up tobacco flavor in a snus.Granted,the taste is very mild for me unless I squeeze against my teeth with my lip,unlike the Claq,which I can even smell with my mouth closed.Damn,Claq is good.I just went off topic didn't I?

Ettan is the only los snus that I use besides Probe. They are both finely ground and easy on the gums. Ettan can be so subtle until you have it in for a while. Ettan will be used by me for quite some time. I still have half a roll of Probe in my freezer (almost a year, but I only use it once a day if I remember having it). I would definitely use the Ettan before the Probe if and when I make my next order.

Great to see another Ettan lover. Ettan is a comfort snus for me, it relaxes me, but above all else it tastes awesome. If you really like Ettan, give Roda Lacket los a shot too if you haven't already.

It is indeed. With a prilla of Ettan lös the nicotine-impact seemingly never ebbs. It isn't sold since 1822 for nothing. Ettan is one of the few brands that get me excited even before I use them.

Ettan loose is my absolute favorite.

I completely agree about the nicotine hit, especially regarding the loose. It may be only 8mg, but it always completely gratifies my nicotine cravings. I used a lot of strong brands prior to getting into Ettan. I have little use for them these days. Ettan it the prefect snus for me in every conceivable way. The flavor is perfect, the medium-coarse grind is perfect, the amount of moisture is perfect, the can design is perfect...

Okay, I'll shut up. In short, Ettan loose is my desert island brand. Best snus ever.

mmmmm ettan...the first month of snusing this wasn't one of my favorites but one day I had a portion after a couple weeks without and I was in love. Then I got a hold of some Ettan Loose and a prismaster and contentment was had by all. Loose Ettan is simply amazing, even a small prilla no larger than what's in a portion does me well, both flavor and nicotine wise. Fill up that prismaster or icetool, though, and you're in for a flavor/nic REVOLUTION!!!

I haven't tried the loose Ettan yet, but the original portions are great. I do 3 or 4 of them a day.

I agree. I use a lot of strong snus, but ettan loose hits pretty hard right before the pris breaks up. Dunno what it is. I think it more ettan flavor overload than actual nicotine but its pretty strong.
