Chain Snusers

My wife asked me today, "Does everyone chain snus like you do?" Since I only know a limited number of snusers, I thought I should ask in the forum. So do you chain snus?

(Note: chain snusing is when you put in a new snus right after you take one out).

Unless I am eating I always have snus in my lip. I typically sleep with a portion in. Very rarely do I wake up to the portion on my pillow. 99% of the time it's still resting neatly under my lip! 8)

If I´m awake for 18 hours a day, then I´m probably without snus for 30 minutes during my waking hours unless there siu something preventing me from popping one in.
I never sleep with one except for power naps.

I don´t know why I chain them, it´s just a nice feeling, sometimes I´m without for an hour and I don´t really crave one very badly, it´s just nicer to have one in

Yea, I'd say I chain snus. It isn't quite as quick as pulling one out and putting another in, but there's typically only a 10 minute gap or so. I also frequently sleep with snus in. I like the dreams :^)

I almost constantly have a snus in. There may be a 10 minute gap in between depending on what snus i used, but typically I always have one in.

Another related question might be, how long do you keep snus in? Unless a portion become totally lifeless, I usually keep a portion in 2 hours, I know they usually retain goodness and flavor for me that long, I have a Roda Lacket in now, and it's 8:23 am as I write this, I usually will sorta watche the time, and if it's till good till then, keep it in till 10:30am. I sometimes might wait an hour, more or less, but usually during my work day, I have 4 portions, 2 before lunch and 2 after, then go home and either eat dinner right away, or put some loose in, or do it after dinner, usually around 7pm, and unless it mudslides, it's usually going good till 9, then I might wash my mouth and call it a day. So is this "chain snusing"?

What are your guys ways to discretely pop-in/take-out of your mouth when your in a business meeting/with company who don't approve (my girlfriends parents for example)? My favorite way to take one out is to pretend to take a drink of water/soda and spit it into there. A way that I pop it in is pretending to yawn and popping one in. Someday people will catch on but rarely.
Also, if people are a distance from me I just pop one in regularly and claim its gum.

I have been chain snusing for 2 1/2 years now. Am at a moment in life where I am looking at maybe slowing down my snus usage a bit. Just need to save wherever I can. So wondering if I might be just as happy with 8 snus a day.

I have a pris in almost all day. Which is funny, because I work retail, and somehow customers/bosses don't say anything. I usually pop one in before I punch in, and keep it in until my break, unless I starts dripping down my teeth. In that case, I usually grab a paper towel, pretend to blow my nose, and catch the snus in the towel as it drops out. Unless I'm eating or sleeping, I usually have one in.


I did have to take a break from snus yesterday, because I have a bunch of high salt snus, all on my left side, and it was starting to really irritate my upper lip. Generals ES lös does that to me if I have too many in one day.

I chain snus much in the same way as lxskllr. I usually try to leave a ten to fifteen minute gap in between old pris extraction and the insertion of another. I don't really know why I feel compelled to wait a few minutes between, but I do.

The short break seems to refresh the mouth, and clear the palate. Just 10 minutes seems to make a big difference in enjoyment.

Chainsnused about 4 cans of my skruf, and 1 day I just started to use snus when I wanted. (3-7 fat pris per day now)

Have a drink of water before the new snus also. It's very refreshing :^)
