A years worth of snus news please

I haven't been on the forums or done much of anything snus related in about a year, but I'm thinking of making an order and interested in some things.

Before you call me lazy I did read a lot of the new threads, but still have some questions if you don't mind.

Is there any american snus that actually resembles snus yet?
Does the snus that comes from northerners new US warehouses still come from sweden? Same deal just shipped here first?
That norwegian guy who youtubes about snowboarding and snus still alive?
Any new flavors from the real snus companies?
And is my username still the best pun on the forums?

    Thanks in advance.

I had some Grand Prix snus a while back, and it was comparable to Swedish snus I thought. I can't get it around me, but I think that, Tourney, and Triumph seem to be the most like real Swedish snus, but I haven't tried but that one Grand Prix, which I think, was wintergreen. I don't even know if these are made anymore.

No American snus yet. A couple are getting close.
Northerner's American warehouse carries Swedish made snus.
Norwegian guy? New one on me.
Thunder Frosted is about the newest flavor that hasn't been dome before. Oden's Kanel also. Outside of that just new brands with variations of the same old flavors.

      I don't like puns.

STORM6490MT? Nick made a video a couple months ago. Said he had started drinking too much which drove him to start smoking cigarettes again. Once he conquers his alcohol demons then he'll conquer his nicotine demons and start snusing again. One demon at a time. He didn't want to be a hypocrite telling everyone how good snus was if he wasn't snusing.

Most of the new snus in the last year has been in the who's got the most nicotine.

Claq Qui ( a stronger version of Röda Lacket)
Grov Svart Black (a new strong anise flavored snus)
General Ekstra Sterk now in lös
Thunder the most notable being Thunder Frosted (spearmint)
Oden's the most notable being Kanel (cinnamon)

and lastly a regular strength offering from Japan Tobacco International
Camel a standard strength nicotine tobacco snus flavored with bergamot

Camel (JTI) is real Swedish snus not to be confused with Camel from RJ Reynolds. RJR holds the US patents and JTI holds the international patents so you have two completely different products from two completely different companies using the same trademark logo.

              Welcome back skruf :^)

That "Norwegian" guy was from Colorado I believe. Storm something or the other. I haven't seen him in a long time :^/

My snus choices have been frozen in time. I'm pretty much using the same snus I always have. The latest trend is stark snus, and I'm not so much interested in them. I've tried Grov Svart, and it's interesting, but not a repeat buy for me. It tastes like marshmallows and leather :^D

I think US warehouse General is made in America, but I'm not sure. In any case, it would be made to the same standards as Swedish made snus. There still isn't an American snus that competes favorably with the Swedish brands AKAIC.

Sorry if this is considered an old post now, but the guy who forgot to check the forums forgot to check the forums again.

Thanks for the welcome backs, and I think I'll make another order. I only do a few cans about twice a year to avoid getting addicted, but the flavor combined with the buzz is what I miss the most. Call me a pussy if you'd like, but it's nice to get it for about 20 cents.

Also, I am glad we can all agree skruf cranberry, ettan, and general are forever the best.

Forum news? Well, I'm here now, so things have kind of gone downhill.

Plus, everyone seems to think Level is the best.

I don't even know all the new brands, because I'm too stubborn/old/hardcore to try anything but the three I mentioned.

Hey, what's up man! Long time, no see most definitely.

Yeah, things have changed quite a bit over just a year's time.....unfortunately, a lot of it hasn't been for the better. Sometimes I wish snus could have just stayed under the radar forever.

New new news for you.

Check out Discreet snus. Best American snus yet, by a country mile.

The flavors on the market so far are very sweet, very unlike Swedish but all absolutely yummy.

                          BUT...

Tom of Discreet snus is testing a "Swedish Style". One of the best snus I have ever tasted ever, maybe almost as good as my beloved Retro. Stiill only a mini at least in this test phase, but PROOF that Americans CAN make good snus!!

                          Go here for free samples...
