How many Can(s) do you bring on a vacation??

I'll be leaving for a few days next week, so I'll be packing up my Discreet and a few other cans just to mix it up...all portions, no los while I'm gone. I did get the Summer Snus Sampler from getsnus so I'm sure some of those will make their way into the suitcase.

Every day I take at least 5 cans of snus with me when I leave the house. An ES flavor, 2 medium (9-11mg)flavors, and 2 reg portion flavors. I've gone out of town for 5 days recently and took about ten cans with me, following the same formula above, except I tossed in a couple cans of los too.

I'm going to NY for three days (including the two I'll be travelling on), and I'll still probably bring 6-10 cans with me. Just in case I start using 3 cans a day, you know? Visiting family always makes me want to start smoking again, so it usually sees a big upswing in my nicotine uptake. I've gone months without smoking before, visited my parents and started smoking again within 2 days, tops.

NYC snus availability

I'm pretty sure I've seen General snus at 'De La Concha' Tobacconist, on the Avenue of the Americas (6th Ave) at 56th Street (East side of the street) in New York.

RJR's Camel stuff is available in most "Duane Reade" pharmacies, though you'll have to explain loudly what it is in excruciating detail as you point in vain at the cans on the display case. The sellers are not clued into the product at all.

No Discreet or Nordic American products in the city at all.

I use about a dozen cans a month, half and half between los and portion. I am presently on a two-month, around the world trip. I brought about 36 cans with me. When I fly, I generally carry about half a dozen in my backpack, with the rest packed in Pringles cans in my suitcases. All hotels I stay at have fridges, of course.

Whenever I go somewhere like next door- say, to watch the game or to borrow a shovel - I usually take 98 cans with me in an ice cream’s vender’s cart.

Actually, I’m on a week’s vacation now. I have three cans of los and one can of Retro regular portions. My formula for how much to take is simply the amount I normally use at home over the given period of time plus a little extra for back up.

But that’s just me. I’m sure taking 6,000 cans of snus, the fridge in the garage, and informing Northerner of your travel itinerary- just for the weekend- is perfectly normal and really does not need to be treated with any heavy medication. Nothing to worry about. Nooo nothing at all.

Also, while we’re at it, having 39 different avatars over the last few days is also perfectly normal.

Went to turkey for a week and brought 3 tins and a open one with 10 left, i came back to norway and took the last portion in the car ride home :lol:
