    Gajane Website

Has anyone seen a website by the people that make the Oden's snus? I can't seem to find one.

But that V2 site does not show Odens, nor Gajane.

Maybe not, but they still make it.

Was never really publicly said, but what it is.

Now how the heck can a company produce a line of snus with only one plant?????

It takes lots of plants for a company to make a decent sized batch of snus for resale. They probably go thru thousands a day. gees....some ppl.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I have been looking for them for a while, I wanted to tell them to wake the maintenance guy the **** up and get him to fix the malfunctioning portion sealing machine for Christs sake. How many defective bags in a can anyway? I get two a can lately, great batch control. Luke Nordstrommen.

                        snus plants

The former Gotlandssnus/current Taboca plant in Gotland is smaller than an average roadside McDonalds, and can produce over 5m cans annually. Mertz maker/packers are designed to minimize footprint if necessary.

JTI has over 20m per year capacity in an old grain storage facility outside of Gothenburg (Vargarda) with the "clean" area on several floors in two tiny buildings.

Actual area is determined by on-site leaf storage and the required refrigerated storage area for fresh product.

Usually, capacity bottlenecks are a result of insufficient maker/packer capacity, and not primary. In general, however, a snus factory can operate in a small space. I've heard rumors that Gellivare is/was literally produced in a factory resembling a garage.
