Do you swallow your snus juice?

Uhg.. I could never swallow real Swedish snus juice.. Although, I did swallow the Camel brand juice on occasion before I switched to the good stuff. Let me know your thoughts on the subject of snus juice..

Sure do. You'll get used to it after a week or so and won't notice the salt as much.

        Yes, we're all freaks!

After about a week of using Swedish snus your throat will develop some kind of horny skin that helps to stomach the ugly juice.

Just kidding, of course! In fact I second what lxskllr and beja have said.

        Cheers!

I don't at all, but I'm not prone to heartburn in the first place. I've read posts from other people that said they got heartburn from cigarettes and dip, but stopped having it when they switched to snus.

Of course. The wonderful aspect of snus is that spitting is not required.

I used to need something to drink with the runnier stuff like General. Nowadays I don't really care at all. The only snus that still gives me issues with juice is Camel JTI, just because it tastes like pure bergamot.
But yes, the juice is where the best of the flavors are! You're really missing out if you spit all that wonderful goodness on the ground!

Why do you think Swedish snus is ok to swallow, but not something like American dip? I mean, I understand that Swedish snus is made completely different; and I have read fully into it, but I'm wondering what the chemical or ingredient differences are that make swallowing something like dip a really bad idea.. And for that matter, why does American loose tobacco take the skin off your lip the first time you use it? Anyone?

I imagine it's the way the tobacco's prepared. I'd get violently ill from swallowing dip, but snus doesn't bother me.

I really don't get any juice to speak of. Since I started placing it in the front top of my mouth, the juice is just not there. It was when I was putting portions on the side, or too much to the side I got too much juice, and I didn't like it. But now, nothing really at all.

I don't usually snus without a beverage for that reason. And I even spit occasionally, depending on the current state of my mouth and hydration level. Overall though, my answer is definitely yes, and I definitely prefer to have something to drink with my snus. Coffee in the morning, water all day, and beer at night.
