Los is not for everybody. I also understand why someone would not want to go through the extra effort and mess. It is something you eventually get accustomed to, though.....and although I tend to use portions more, I like los due to the fact that I can "portion" it out however I see fit. I can make a small, discreet pris or a huge, fat wad depending on my mood.
ive already decided that my next order will contain ettan, roda lackett, general, and grov los. i feel like thats probably a good starting point with los, and it helps that theyre my top 4 portions, so we'll see. im anxious to give los a shot.
Lös here all the way from beginning, not so much choices because of the ban, I tried lös first time with icetool, after it got 2x cans of portions (LS&Skruf), then I bought cans allways when available and handbaked, lös is my thing, portions not.

As far as baking goes the brands you have listed are some of the easiest to manage. However, they are not the place that I would start my venture into los. All 4 are pretty bland and take sometime to acclimate taste wise. Thus you may not get much flavor from them until you have been at it a while (remember taste varies between the los and portions of the same brand. Thus what you like in portion may not be a good basis for making a los selection). Second, except for the Grov your selections are all very fine cut and thus tend to be much harder to manage once you have got them in.
I would recommend that you keep the Roda and the Grov but that you throw in a can of Knox and Phantom Regular as well as maybe a can of Skruf.
Eventually you will definitely want to try the others. I just would not start with all 4 of these together at the same time.
Also pick up a pris master. They are cheep and will help with baking
Hope this helps
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers
It took me several cans of lös to get used to it. Been using snus for 5 months now. The first month I used only portions (too much of a baby to try lös) ops: Now I rarely portion. For me lös is no1 for comfort.
I always hand baked and for the 1st can (Röda) every pris turned to mud and was YUK. I used this snus because it is supposed to be the easiest to bake.
Then something magic happened the mudslides stopped. 2 reasons: 1. Snus has made the inside of my lip much drier all the time. 2. I now have a snus pocket up there, the pris just sits in there. In fact it feels as if I have a snus in even when I havent.
Tips I offer you: Keep at it, dont bake too hard you dont want a rock under your lip, gently make a small pyramid on the palm of hand just hard enough so it doesnt fall apart when you stickit under lip, catch any loos bits with tongue and gently form the pris under lip with tongue. Icetool is not essential, I have 1 tho' its a great bit of kit.
