So a few of us went to a local bar for drinks after work, and I was taking out a tin of Gotlandssnus Flader, when a coworker of mine (a young girl from Ukraine) asks about it and mentioning having seen it back home before. She was more than curious, and unlike alot of my friends actually asked to try it. She is the only one so far that actually liked it, she said she wasn't a big smoker, but she liked tobacco when she drinks... I gave her the rest of the tin and i'm ordering her some to take back with her.

Others were curious at the party we went to afterwards the first thing they did after opening the very fresh can of Got Flader was mentioned how it smelled of cat piss, you should have seen there faces smelling the Claq Qui I had. The smell of them both puts a big grin on my face

I love everything about Got Flader... I can't decide wether it tastes more like Liptions Citrus Green Tea or sour apple... I love both flavors. Gots snus is definitely my favorite so far, next to my beloved Oden's ES los.

Cat piss, really? To me it smells like apples.
All my friends balk at the smell of my snus, even the heavily flavored ones. I can understand it with some, but with Gotlandssnus?
Oh well, more snus for the rest of us!

I've never been able to truly convert a woman to snus... Maybe it's my technique...

I have never heard of Gotlandssnus Flader...where can i get some? I've only seen green, yellow, and grey. Is it actually one of those or an entirely different snus? I just checked buysnus.com and I don't see that listed. I would also assume that getsnus.com also does not have it.

I've never been able to truly convert a woman to snus... Maybe it's my technique...

Yeah, I got one to try it (Claq Qui). She liked the buzz, but it made her feel sick. Plain 8mg snus alone is strong enough when you're not used to the stuff, even if you're a smoker. Claq Qui is even worse.

She used to chew (she's in the army and couldn't smoke during basic training, so she'd sneak dip) so I thought for sure she'd like it. It was enough to convince her to buy a tin of the camel stuff, but decided that she didn't like the feeling of it in her mouth. Plus she's crazy about her teeth (they're white as ****) and is too paranoid that it'll stain them. I don't know, i never had any issue with staining, but whatever.

Also tried to give her an e-cig, but she didn't stick with that either. Some people are determined to quit smoking the hard way, even though it never works for them.

Haha... I didn't, she does have my number though and has agreed to cook borscht for me.

Now I did get involved with two other coworkers that night... but that story is better left alone :wink:

well, my neighbor just got his first shipment of snus, general mini mint. came over here, he smoked a cig while opening the box, then threw a portion in his mouth. we were drinking beer and jabbering when he pulled out another cig and said "hey, watch this." then he broke the sucker in half and threw it away. he's quitting cigs today, he had me set 'em up with that smoke meter thing i have in my sig.

congrats to your neighbor... i still get the urge to smoke when I am drinking around smokers... if i can't resist and forget why I quit, i'll often take a drag just to remind me why I snus instead :wink:
