It's better than South Africa though, their products say "Causes Cancer".

We used to have "May cause cancer" over here to, but it had to be removed about 8 or so years ago because there was no proof.

Sorry, but that is incorrect.

I spend a large part of my time in South Africa and have bought numerous cans of snus there - General White/LS White

None of them say "Causes Cancer". Instead it says "Tobacco is addictive"

I just got a box of Camel Frosted (for the first time) and notived the "This product is not a safe alternative to cigarettes" warning!

First of all, some guys in here warned me about Camel Frosted, but I am curious by nature...so I got some anyway.
They guys were right. Camel Frosted has nothing to do with swedish snus, it's a very poor substitute.

The label should have been "This product is not a safe alternative to nothing. Might be handy as candy, apart from that this is useless".

I popped in a pouch as soon as I got it, but there are no nic buzz from it

I'm sorry, I was referring to the SA snuffs. The ones I have, NTSU, TAXI, and Singletons all say "Causes Cancer" dominant on their containers.

Oh yeah, I think the Taxi cans have had that on them as far back as the late nineties or even earlier perhaps when they started clamping down on smoking and tobacco in general thanks to the then health minister

It is NOT a safe alternative to cigarettes as stated... but it is indeed SAFER than cigarettes.
Following their thinking, we should probably have warning labels on drinking straws saying "This product is not a safe alternative to cigarettes"... because one could scratch the roof of their mouth.

I just wish they had to be as honest with the facts as they claim they are. They should print "this product may cause mouth cancer...if you consume the equivalent volume to a small carload per day."
It'd be a hella-big label, but hey, it's true!

I think that they should ban the profession of mechanic due to engine oil being carcinogenic or maybe life itself as life is pretty carcinogenic.
The sun is carcinogenic. Rocks are radioactive. Fried food is carcinogenic

Snus is waaaaay down the list of danger. Mad world.
