Portable snus refrigeration

So my friend got me a gift cert to thinkgeek.com and I can't think what else to get, so I'm looking at this:

I took my biggest can at the moment, which is Camel White and compared it to a can of beer and it looks like it'd fit.

Anyone ever seen these USB fridges? Would be awesome to have it sitting on my desk at work keeping my snus cool. Haha.

I'm not sure if they still have it, but I think Getsnus and maybe even Northerner had General USB mini fridges like that.

Reports haven't been favorable on that type of fridge. They don't really work without direct contact on the metal plate on the bottom.

The best imo is old school. Get a Playmate cooler, and freeze a couple bottles of water to use as ice blocks(don't forget to leave headspace for expansion), and put the snus in there.

If you want to go tech, the combo warmer/coolers they sell for car and office use would be better than the USB fridge.

The link for a similar one with all of the specs is posted a little further down. Plugs into the wall or via the cig lighter socket in your car.

I have had mine running 24/7 for over a year now.....the fan went bad, but when I cracked it open, I found that it used an ordinary PC exhaust fan. One trip to the computer store and $8 later.....good as new. :wink:
