    Firebreak Gum

I got a box of Firebreak with my latest order from Northerner (3xRoda Lacket white, 3xGeneral Wintergreen, 3xCatch Eucalyptus).

I popped it in, chewed, and was immediately rewarded with a burst of icy flavor, an inflamed throat, acid reflux, and the urge to vomit.

Did I do it wrong? Are you supposed to spit or something?

I have no idea what you are talking about. I have used this on multiple occasions. Has never been anything other than like any other gum I ever had. NO issues whatsoever.

Do you generate a lot of saliva when you use it? If so, do you spit it out?

For whatever reason the juice from the gum killed my throat and stomach. Stark portions do the same thing if I leave them in too long.

        I bought it before.

I didn't quite have the reaction either of you did.

It wasn't a pleasant experience. It definitely wasn't like any other regular gum either.

It was a bit gritty, like it had snuff mixed into it.

I tried to use it like Nicorette Gum and it was a little easier to deal with. Chew a few times and tuck in the gums.

I couldn't chomp on it like ordinary gum. I never did finish the package.

I could see a use for it. Not a bad price.

Actually, that is exactly how they say you should use it, not that I did, but still. And yes, that s exactly what it is, it basically has ground tobacco just like snuff in it. so that makes sense.

I guess when i used it, I was just comparing it with the horrible pharma gum. Compared to that, the firebreak is wonderful. I originally got it when the bossman at my new job called me in to tell me I wasn't allowed to use snus there. But soon, I just said screw t and used anyway. And they went gunning for me a month later and fred me for a completely different reason. So now, I occasionally stumble upon my packages and may have one every 4 months or so. But I just love my snus so no real need for it now

I should have read up on it then! I opened the package, saw the gum, threw away the pamphlet on it I couldn't read, and chomped away.

            Thanks for the tip.

Why banned?! It's chewed! I thought we were okay with chewing tobacco.

It sounds like tobacco chewing gum as opposed to nicotine chewing gum ie. contains MAOIs and the nicotine.

Looks like SM don't make it anymore anyway if you Google it. That's what BuySnus says anyway.

Hahah Nicorette gum really does NOT work for me.. I tried using it a couple of times.. Just makes me crave cigarettes even more - damn counter-productive gum!
