What do you do when you're out of snus?

last night, i was close to getting off work, and plans came up to go somewhere after work and crash over there. i live 30 miles away from where i work, and i had to be back the next morning, so no time to go home and what do i see when i open my can of thunder frosted? i have 3 portions left, which i knew would be gone by the end of the day.

so here i am today, on a 15 hour shift, and no snus until tonight. i need to keep backups with me or something.

so what do you guys do when you're out of snus for a whole day and have no way to get any? smoke, dip, what's your get by scheme?

Its happened. Like the last time, I'd probably pick up a tin of camel snus. They can't seem to give the stuff away here, it's generally down to 1.99/tin as a promotional price. I have a stack of free coupons as well.

I figured out a way to sew a hidden snus pouch in my side so even if I run out, I have a secret stash just in case.

I was thinking about giving myself a new species name, snussupial.

Before that, I just kept a stash can around just in case

Well, it's almost winter so I'll be keeping a couple tins in my car just in case. Jeep soft top, so it stays pretty chilly in the winter.

Otherwise, I'd go to the store and get some Camel, all the while cursing the name of American tobacco makers.

I do wish you could just drive on down to 7-11 and buy a tin of skruf lös!

I keep a tin of American nasal snuff in my Jeep. Also, it very rare that I go out with fewer than 3 tins of snus as well as nasal snuff. I'm usually pretty well covered for tobacco.

If that happened to me, I'd just go to the local Speedway gas station and get a can of Tourney. But it hasn't happened, as I always know about what I have on hand, but yeah, I'd get a can of Tourney. If that wasn't available, and I was going out to hang out at a buddies... I might just smoke that one night. If I had to, I could do without.

I purchased Camel Mellow today. Forgive me, for I have sinner.

I am double barreling this stuff like a boss, and it's barely doing the job. I will never forget my blessed Swedish Snus again. I forgot how terrible doing American Snus full time was.

My typical solution?? I go home. But I am rarely more than 10 minutes from home.

2nd option, I would probably just buy a pack of smokes. Have smoked enough over two years, it just isn't a big issue.

Long, long time ago when I was ordering at last second, I have also bought Camel as well. But t doesn't work as well as the cigarettes. So now, cigarettes would win over.

I feel your pain. I have been popping Camel snus all day and its not doing a damn thing. I swear I have had better results with 2 mg Nicorette. I am pretty sure the nic content is at 1 mg for the Camel. I may have to break down and buy some Redman tomorrow-been grumpy all day.

So I blew threw a can of camel mellow today. I had to double up every single usage. It was terrible. Now I'm home and have a Frosted in right now and sweet, sweet relief is mine.

I actually ran out about 2 days ago. 2 week shutdown at work and they miffed up my unemployment check, so I was running on my change jar for awhile and couldn't order anything.

Luckily, there is a Speedway 3-4 blocks from where I work. So I just picked up 2 cans of Tourney original, 1 Tourney wintergreen, and 1 Camel frost. They all suck (although the tourney is pretty close to being decent, just a bit too underwhelming), but it'll get me through. Throw in the occasional cigar and i'm straight.

So in your specific case, I'd have bought a can of Camel Frost, a 5 pack of Phillie Honey Cigarillos, and been OK.

I always make sure to have at least 15 portions of snus in the can before I head to work. When I'm working, I ALWAYS have a portion in my mouth, each lasting 30-45 minutes.
