So I gave up on my website...

some of you guys remember i was trying to start a snus website a while back, snubie.com. well, the website has sat there under construction for MONTHS, and i've pretty much given up. everything people need to know they can get here, so i've got the website redirecting to my snus review blog, and i'm going to have a link to snuson.com on my blog if anyone needs further snus information.

after being a member at snuscentral for a while and coming over here, i can honestly say this is the best forum on the net. when i was spending more time on this forum than i was on my website's forum, i kinda realized what i had to do. so yeah, it was a good idea, maybe... but i really don't think i have much to offer that people can't get on here. i consider this to be the best source of snus information for newbies. everyone who asks me i send them here. or when they ask me about snuscentral i just smirk, smile, and say "snuson.com, 'nuff said." nothing against mr. waters, but i just find this website to be much more friendly, a much nicer home environment. everyone here is friends, no drama, no stress, and that's just how i like it.

i remember sage asking me when i started talking about doing a website "what can you offer that people can't get here?" and it took months to realize, "well...nothing." haha.

I have real mixed emotions about this. I loved your passion and feel a bit bad about all of it.

But i was being honest then. I just didn't understand what you were trying to bring to the mix that Snuson wasn't doing. And it was an honest question then.

But I just don't have the time to invest in other sites, reason I have never really spent any time over at Snuscentral, even though there are some dear important folks over there. And I certainly never put any time on your site.

So again, I am a bit sorry as I know you put a lot of work in. But I am glad you are here. You bring a wonderful enthusiasm with you!!

i just didn't like snuscentral being the only snus website online, and to quote it best, someone said "i liked larry best when he was a crackpot blogger and not a wannabe snus pimp". i didn't really like his approach with snuscentral, which is the main reason i wanted to do something else. however, i'm happy with my place now, and i think going back to blogging and hanging out over here will be good enough.

Oh, there's been plenty of drama, stress and ball-kicking........a few people quit posting because of it. I almost gave up on this board as well.

Regardless, this was the first (working) snus forum I found, and probably the only one I have the energy to participate in.

Btw, what was your worst snus out of the ones you reviewed? I agree mostly with all of your reviews so far.

You should have your blog be at your domain instead of redirecting... There's a fee, but I don't think it's very much at all.

I don't mean to get off topic, but drsnus.com is now bookmarked. Dude, great read. Diet Mountan Dew mixed with Wintergreen? I think everyone here could have told you that was gonna suck.

I like the idea of trying to get the burn back, but there is no way I'm going to do it with hot sauce. Another idea that doesn't sound good. BUT I like that you are trying different things.

I am VERY interested in the new flavors of catch you have on your site. Are they available yet? Especially Cardamom Cinnamon. Me loves Cardamom. 95% of the time I am using sterk/stark snus, but everyonce and a while some of the catch flavors are nice. Just have to double up on them.

Violet Licorice is out now, but I can only find it at swedishsnus.com at the moment.

Cardamom Cinnamon is due out in about 3 months.
