I got my first can of los (General) today and a prismaster. I looked at the prismaster and thought how in the hell is that going to make a pris. I decided to handbake my first pris. Now let me remind you I've never dipped. I had no idea what I was doing. I watched Zeros video (which is very helpful) and gave it a shot. It was a small pris, and was not the prettiest, but I stuck it in place. My only mistake was I stuck it too far back. I tried to move it up and it stared to break apart. I used my tongue to slide it up further and all was good. I left it in for about 45 mins and had no problem. I even played with it with my tongue to get some juice and push it up and all was good. I was drinking a beer all the while as well. I don't know if it was the brand or what, but handbaking was easy as hell. I was expecting a snus explosion in my mouth, but no such thing happened. I couldn't los all day, but I will def. be buying more for the evenings. I have a Skruf portion in now (to try for the first time), but when it's done, I'm gonna try the prismaster. Sorry for the long post, just had to let you guys know how my first run with los went!

Veganpunk welcome to the wonderful world of los. You no longer simply use snus you now wield tobacco. You are an artisan. Learn your craft well and enjoy.
As always give it time and try a variety. When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

I am looking forward now to getting home and putting in some los, now that I figured out injecting the Prismaster sideways. It really made it so much better and comfortable that how I was doing it before. It took me about 3 cans to figure it out. It has been a learning experience. I think the only open los I have right now is Offroad Cranberry, which is very good.

Your snus comes in prepackaged portions. It’s not a bad thing. In fact, you buy it for that very reason. You just don’t wield tobacco.
Los, on the other hand, must be fashioned, worked, and shaped- that’s all. It’s an art.
Move along folks, nothing to see here…..that’s it, keep it moving

After my above post, in the spirit of fairness and in recognition of the various snus traditions among us, I have consulted with the National Endowment for the Arts, The John T. and Arthur C. Getty Foundation, as well as with a guy I met at the Stop-n-Shop and we have all decided that though “fluffing” your portions (pausing to wipe tears of laughter from my eyes) is not technically a wielding of tobacco, it is nonetheless a technique requiring primate type motor skills and some degree of mental consciousness.
Therefore, to you fluffy snusers out there, we the brotherhood of los acknowledge your skills and embrace your fluffy portions with delightWhen it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers
