Do you know how long you have been snusing???

I got my first order of true snus August 7, 2008. I had tried Triumph and Camel 4 or 5 weeks before that. but that was just playing around, testing the water so to speak. After I got my first order was when I started to quit smoking.

To the best of my memory, it was around September 07. A friend gave me a can of General portions.

My first order was from Buysnus (roll of Knox los). I went back and tried to find a record of it on the site- but nothing there.

I found this forum almost immediately while searching for a place to order snus. Lurked for quite a while, reading it almost daily, then :idea: joined around a year later.

So glad I did.

Oct. 08. I ordered a roll of phantom blue and a roll of general original portions, as well as several cans of catch eucalyptus and various gotlandsnus, was pleased with all. Before that, I had used camel snus and smoked (camel lights, kool milds) for about 7 years prior. It was an easy transition to make. I had originally intended to quit smoking by new years, ended up beating my quit date by over a month.

LOL your first post was about Offroad?? Too funny. Even funnier that you seemed to like the coffee Vanilla, at least you didn't end up like PP. :wink:

I wanted to like the Offroad, and it has some appealing qualities, but it gets tiresome very quickly. I said I'd never get a V2 portion again, but I'll probably end up trying the Thunder at some point. It's almost universally loved, and I'm curious to see how V2's portions have evolved over the last year or so.

Since around December '07, I believe. I had been reading about snus on Camel's cig boards for a couple of months before that, but I did not know it was available for order from overseas at the time.

I´ve been using snus for apx 38 years, my first pris: Ettan lös, and i went really dizzy so i nearly fell in the nearby river..as i was hiding under a bridge ops: I had to watch out for my parents....I was only 12 years old

My first order from northerner is dated as December 20th, 2008. I tried tourney a little bit before that.

i first tried camel about 2 years ago. it was several months later that i discovered tourney, started doing those for a while, quit when camel became available near me, started doing those (all for free mind you) and then just picked up swedish like 3 weeks ago.

I think it was fairly early in Nov 08. At least I know I was snussing Turkey Day as I had to lose my portion before I got to the table.

Since December 2, 2006. I really felt like new-born on that day, because my first snus-portion ended my totally failed and agonising trial to quit smoking with these horrible Nicorette pseudo-nicotine-gums.

Strangely, I do not know on which exact day I smoked my last cigarette, but it was in November 2007 after a year of 99.9% snus-use and 6 months of total smoke-abstinence. In fact though that cigarette kicked like hell after my lungs had become a little more absorptive (or less tarred) and though it still didn't taste like total crap, it absolutely was no longer a pleasing experience for me as a former chainsmoker.
