Definitely. I don't think anyone would object to me saying that you have to at least try a can of this stuff at some point.

I liked it when I first had it. However, after 3-4 cans of it, i found it too.....moist perhaps? My pouches always seemed very slippery and wet which made the drip come fast. There's also something psychological about a black bag not tasting like black licorice. :P hehe

I really liked Onyx when I first started snusing, but I think I over did it. I'll still have one every once in a while, but I can't use them regularly. I think it's the sharp flavor that started to get the better of me. I'm not sure if it's the citrus/bergamot flavor or what, but I don't find the initial bite appealing. It's flavor is great after it fades a little though.

I almost want to buy a roll of these, every time I see that banner ad with the tube it comes in. I don't know why, but that tube really appeals to me. Crazy subliminal Swedish marketing, I guess.

That is a good looking tube. I'm a sucker for packaging :^D

I've been through 4 cans of the stuff, absolutely loved the first two, had to make myself finish the last... I don't care for it anymore. Definitely snus you keep in the fridge, and keep it occasional. I burned out on it bad.

I love it. But I've tried to avoid using too much, since it's expensive and I could easily end up switching from General White (my main squeeze) to Onyx - totally. So far, I've been able to restrict it to a dessert snus. (Well, maybe a bit more often than that.)

But, I am about to order another 5-pack anyway.

At this point, I think I'd trade all these "Free Mystery Can" units of Ettan I'm not using two-for-one for your un-loved cans of Onyx.

I'll have to take a look at how many I have in the freezer....

I really like Onyx, too. At first I thought it was pretty good, but I find myself using it more and more... It kind of snuck up on me, and now I always have a few cans around.

As others have stated, I think Oynx is absolutely wonderful. But it can easily become "too much". So Oynx is now a once or twice a day snus for me, but one I look forward to every day when i have it open.

Funny this thread was just posted. I just checked my mailbox to find 5 cans of General Onyx and 5 of Claq Qui. Been using General Original portions which imo are juicy and delicious. Just wish the strong run lasted longer.

I just popped in a portion of Onyx. Looks like a white portion in a black pouch. But its much juicier than other whites I have tried. Tastes like General Original except a notch or two stronger. The nic hit is not subtle, pretty much punches you in the face. This is good stuff. And for the amount I paid for it the manufacturer obviously knows this.

General Onyx nicotine hit seems perfect to me. Can't wait to try the Claq Qui.

BTW, it IS a white portion.

It's probably possible to burn-out with any snus. I've been careful not to do it (learning that here, of course). Onyx is something I can look forward to as a treat when I have the time to fully enjoy it. Some snus seems to be meant for long, thorough enjoyment.

Isn't it amazing how you can get get burn out on 1 kind of snus, but use the same brand of cigs, dip, and chew for years and never think twice about it.
