Seriously, I am happy when folks give it a fair shake. I have just found it so very useful, and never understood why folks trashed it so much. But it does please me to sees more and more folks at least keeping an open mind and discovering that it can be useful to them too.

And yeah, I SILL think that folks should just listen to me more. :wink:

I realize I am awaking a zombie thread, but I had to do it.

Just as sagedil said many times, I am finally getting around to giving elixyr a second shot.

I normally use sterks in the morning, and drink cuban style coffee, so I am quite used to the serious nicotine, caffeine double whammy in my mornings.

I now am faced with going on a 12 day trip over the coming thanksgiving holiday, and will be staying with friends and relatives, none of whom can handle my daily cuban coffee, so elixyr to the rescue for me

WOW!! Reading this first thing in the morning, while doing breakfast,
has my stomach roiling!!


Whenever I enter a cat-house (meaning a house that harbors cats
along with humans) the noticeably unpleasant odor of cat pee
ensures a short visit on my part. That said, I just can't envision
placing a pouch of cat-peeshit in my mouth, especially first thing
in the morning!!
That would be like sucking on skunk tail.....

I know, I know ... never say never. How about 'I highly doubt it!'

I think I'll just stick with my out-and-about staple (sometimes double-
barreled for twice the goodness) of the very discreet Northerner
Boost. The Honey/Peppermint plus Taurine/Caffeine/Guarana tastes
good and has an extra kick that comes in handy, even when visiting
the above-mentioned cat-house! And the lack of cat piss is definitely
a PLUS!

Me agrees that the Northerner one is way better and the Elixyr is horrible and not worth the minuscule jolt of caffeine. This is when I miss sage's usual "I told you btards 6 gajillion times already it's not f#$ing supposed to taste good, why won't you f@$ers listen to me!" comment. Come back sage.
