LOL, I wrote 2 years ago that it tastes like dirt. Great review, not that it comes as any surprise.

Gizmer
Gizmer, I have friends in certain places and they let me in on a little secret.
Level is just a grand Swedish joke. They all gather around, and every 4 months someone new buys it from some foreign country ( I hear it is mosly Americans though). Then they all sit around laughing at that poor slob, sometimes laughing so hard they pee on themselves. Then they go away awaiting the next time they can laugh at some fool ordering Level again.
Level wasn't designed to make money, it was designed only as a joke on those that didn't know better. Seriously. No one could make something like this without making it so bad on purpose.
Sundog, no it doesn't. It just gets worse each day. One of only a handful of cans I ever threw out.

Originally posted by sagedilcj, I vowed revenge on Level the day I tried it.. How dare something that vile call itself snus. I vowed to not rest unto every single snuser in the world new how bad it was.
So we have an independent review coming up.
Make you a little deal. He hates Level, you owe me a can of NON Level snus.
He likes it, or even just tolerates it, I will send you 5 cans of snus. Deal??

I do agree Jakobsson's classic does go well with coffee. But it might be the mingling of the saltiness with it. I have one in now, with coffee. It's an odd one, because sometimes it's not bad at all, and then sometimes I feel like I have a mini salt pellet in my mouth. I still don't get any particular taste, or orange to it, but maybe a slight smell. Now I have used snus long enough to have aclimated to the salt generally in all snus, but I also did a Grov and a LS yesterday, and they are not super salty like Jakobsson's.

Of all the snus I have tried, Jakobsson's is the mosty salty of them all. At least to me. I have one in now. And I usually alternate between Ettan, Grov, LS, Camel, Odens, and Offroad these last few days. To me, it is high salt, and really, I have 2 portions left in this can, and that's all I get.
