Wintergreen portions are weak

Does anyone find the ends to blow open a lot of the time? Sometimes an end is already split before i fluff the portion?

gonna agree on that one....keep getting them as my mystery can from get snus. It's become the can I keep in the car as an emergency backup should i found myself stranded. I figure the heat of the car may help.

And yea...last one i put in busted open.

The general wimtergreen potions do bust open a lot. But I like to smush the portion a lot before I put it in. If I leave it alone it is usually fine.

If you mess with Thunder Frosted portions, they tear open pretty easily. The only other brand that has done that is Nick & Johnny Original. I'm not a fan of wintergreen flavored snus, so I couldn't tell you.

also - wintergreen tears. (the general kind) they have a record of that. you can contact general and they will usually send you something free in exchange.

I made it trough 3 cans and was proud. This is NOT an every day snus. Flavor too strong, and I am not a huge mint fan, even sweet mint.

FWIW, even if I used nothing but Frosted, it would take me 10 months to go through 10 rolls. (8 portions a day, couldn't do more of the extra Sterk) So one can every 3 days, 10 cans 30 days, 10 rolls 300 days or 10 months.


Chad, you haven't been snuisng that long. Nor has Frosted been out that long. Even if you are using 16 extra sterks a day, wich I would have a hard time imagining, as I have strong nicotine tolerance and even I couldn't do that. That would still make it 5 months, and I still don't think Frosted has been out that long.

I suspect, perhaps, a bit of exaggeration???

I noticed that the General Wintergreen portions feel weird..kind of like there's used chewing gum inside of them. They do bust open, but I order a can every now and then when I want something different. It's one of two flavored portions I can stand (The other being Thunder Frosted)

It is a huge pet peeve of mine, and obviously, not something I am shy about calling folks out on. It is critical for everything that Snuson stands for. It is a place for what is true, not a place for rumors or exaggerations.

So next time, pretty please, if you are trying to make a point, say instead "I use this snus 50 % of the time, or 70% of the time, or <insert actual % here> % of the time and have never had a portion open." Of course, if you have even had just one open, you couldn't <shouldn't> post even that.

So please. Just exact truth here my friend. Agreed?

I have to disagree. I love Wintergreen. I think the General wintergreen is very good, haven't tried Offroad or Thunder yet.

Then again, I am coming to snus as an ex-dipper, not an ex-smoker like most. I used to love Skoal finecut wintergreen, and General wintergreen is similar. I normally favor plain tobacco flavored snus, but wintergreen is nice once in a while.

I use it 85% of the time, and after counting last night I have gone through 4 rolls, and have not had a portion open.
