Isuspect if you just used snus, even give up the snuff for a few months, you will find this much easier. the e-cigg in particular is giving you these blasts of nicotine that I suspect leave your blood as fast as a cigarette will. you need to break that up and down habit to fully clear yourself from the smokes.

So very wise advice roo, thank you for catching that. I think you are very right.
I actually did use more of just the snus today and have only worn down 2 batteries in my e-cig instead of the usual 6 or so...done ok so far today and aren't getting that "gimme more nicotine" feeling like I had been having. I was also a 2 pack a day person for over 30 years. I know I have to put the e-cig away eventually, which is why I haven't bought any more parts for a couple months now.

Sheilalyn, i'd have to agree with everyone else. I went the same route as you. Was on the ecig for months. Found out about snus from T Bob. Haven't used the ecig since two weeks after getting into snus.
I did run out of snus recently and couldn't order so was buying the odd pack of swishers. Now i have more stock and the last smoke was last Friday. It took a few days to get over the hand to mouth thing but life is definitely less complicated without the ecig.

As for my snus consumption i'm pretty steady all through the day. Right now i'm on the Grov black and Onyx sampler (really like both but prefer the Grov). I guess i'll have one for around an hour. Then go 30 to 45 minutes without one. Seems to work for me.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Just snus for me, Sheila, and I got over a 40 year cigarette habit. I must admit that 95% of the time it's sterks, and I keep them going almost all the time, but I haven't had a cigarette in almost eight months. Snus alone will do it. Good luck to you.

That's where I found out about snus too...from T Bob. The amount of nicotine in the e-cig is nothing compared to the snus, at least from what I've seen. Guess I'll just have to keep a portion in at all times and see how it goes! Except for when I'm eating of course...that might get a little icky :P
