Wintergreen???

Im a Sterk/Ekstra Sterk/salt/pure tobacco kind of snus guy....have been the whole time I've been snus'n...

I have to admit though I LOVE General WG. Order it by the roll even. I dont use it as much as when it first came out...will go days without one, but then some days I'll use 5-8 of em...enough useagle that like I said I buy 10 at a time.

I know some people dont dig it, but meh...different strokes. Me, I think snus like, um...say Retro...see, now to me that tastes like the backside of a cat...infused with cardboard.. 8)

General Wintergreen is foul. I only needed one portion to make up my mind as well. In fact, I only needed to smell it. But I grew a pair and tried one the other night, and I couldn't agree more with your sentiment.

i havent tried the general wintergreen, but on the whole i dont like wintergreen things. i liked the tourney spearmint. but peppermint is the best mint.

I'm a fan of mint. General Mini Mint is actually my everyday go-to snus because of how discreet it is. Can use it at school and at work.

I ordered two cans of General Wintergreen, and while I can stand it, I probably won't be going back.

I like to keep at least 1-3 cans of regular portions at all time. Kind of my sit back and relax tool. This however won't be in the mix from now on.

Mint I like although I've not tried a mint snus yet. I can't equate mint with wintergreen, the only thing in common (for me anyway) is they both come from a plant, bit like comparing apples with deadly nightshade.

Really an acquired taste, not for me.

Still I'm still winning, one yucky can from the ten in the sampler isn't bad.

I think Americans get innoculated to wintergreen early in life. Wintergreen Lifesavers candy comes to mind. Once you add some sugar and put it in candy form people associate it with something that tastes good. If you didn't have that experience as a kid then I can see why you would have that opinion of it.

I suppose that childhood tastes heavily influence adult perceptions. I was never exposed to wintergreen but grew up on "Victory V" and "Fisherman's Friend" lozenges. Now they would be a shock to anyone coming to them unprepared. I suspect they never made it across the pond but once tasted, never forgotten...

We have Fisherman's friend; I love them. I use those for "stuffy head" type colds, and I prefer Ricola for "sore throat" type colds.

Fisherman's Friend made it hear, I remember seeing advertisements for it when I was young, but that was a long, long time ago

if you like mini mint, try thunder frosted mini. i don't use minis anymore, but i wish they had it around when i did. it's alot stronger, and lasts longer than mini mint.

As far as wintergreen goes, I grew up on it. I always ate the lifesavers as a kid. I also love the snus.

Yeah if you haven't tried another mint I would suggest the General Mini Mint, or apparently the Thunder Frost.

I've heard nothing but good things about it. The only reason I stick with General Mini Mint is because im in the US and it gets here faster/it's easier to acquire.
