I just got a can of Gen Mini Mint, and my new bronze Cope lid fits it perfectly! Nice and tite. Works better if you take the little spit lid off the Gen can. Seems like it fits too loose on American snuff containers. Remember: the instructions say it goes OVER the original lig on the can, it doesn't replace the lid. Only wish I had gotten the silver lid instead of this brass one, the color would go better.

My son-in-law dips Longhorn and it comes in a black plastic can. The lid fits over the original Longhorn one, but it does not hold on very tight. Think perhaps a bit of rubber cement will solve that problem. Remove all the Longhorn labels and it looks pretty nice. Think I will re-use it for my snus portions. Cool, eh?

                Check this thread...

                http://www.snuson.com/viewtopic.php?...ghlight=bronze

I don't know if it's still going on, but it's worth a shot. I think I had to register to see anything on the site.

For those with bronze lids like me... Tre Ankre minis have the gold colored plastic, and work well with the Copenhagen lids.

I just ordered the Bronze filigree one.

Thank you folks for posting pictures. I must admit, I thought this was stupid when the thread was first posted. But seeing the actual lids on some cans, so freakin cool.

So thanks for giving me the kick in the a**.

That's the one I got Sage. It's very nice and heavy.

                          You'll like it.

                          It looks so cool.

I got one as well but don't yet know what I will be using it for! I am guessing I will find a use for it eventually!

I thought about getting the chopper for a moment, me and motorcycles and all that. But I really prefer the understatement of the Filigree. Just more elegant I guess, and that is the whole point of all of this.
