damn you sage! yet another Elixyr convert and mini review

just kidding you know we love you man in a purely platonic sense. anyway finnaly got around to cracking open a can of Elixyr energy.

    on the the mini review:
Smell: kinda odd but bet thats the taurine and the caffiene. but then agien i dont buy snus to SNIFF it thats thats snuff is for.
as the for the mouth feel i cant really say as i have only been snusing for 4 months onr so feels all right.

Taste: really odd as everyone else im sure knows tastes like a cross between a redbull and some cough syrup to me. its not bad its just weird. kind bitter to me most likely the caffiene and taurine agien.

Hit: defintaly will wake you up thats for sure.

I'm really glad you tried it and found it useful.

Elyxr is finally getting the fair shake it deserves. I started using it within days of it being released last year. It's horrible reputation was born early just because the taste caught so many folks by surprise.

Eventually, I figured out the trick was to be blunt up front about how strange the taste was. I started saying it tasted like a**. It doesn't really, but if folks go into expecting the worst, they are mildly surprised it isn't as bad as they expected or heard, and actually pay attention to how it makes them feel.

And for me, and many, many others, it's functionality wins you over.

So great to hear about another person giving it a fair chance. Thank you.

I think Red Bull should market a snus with caffeine. I hypothesize it would be very successful in Scandinavia, since the brand is internationally renowned.

I've yet to try Elixyr, but I plan on ordering a can soon!

Now I have to try it. I heard a lot of bad reviews a couple of months ago. People calling Sage crazy and all, now it seems I read better reviews of this snus, and must try it. Maybe it can replace my Oden's for the morning.

Sage is crazy but that's besides the point.

the only problem with that is, i believe that red bull itself is banned in norway due to it's caffiene content. No doubt they'd crank up the caffiene in the snus as well, likely getting it banned in norway as well. aside from that, it'd probably fly everywhere else.

Previous bad reviews were generally by folks who didn't really know what Elyxr was. So bitching about how bad it tastes, when the snus is filled with caffeine AND taurine, is kinda like folks bitching about baseball being boring. Kinda the whole point of the enterprise.

But when folks understand that it might taste a little funky, and look past that and solely focus on function. Most (not all), But most find it very useful.

I think anyone who even *thinks* it might be useful for themselves should try it. I know 100% of the folks won't love it. But more and more are finding Elyxr to be a useful addition to their arsenal. All I ask is folks keep an open mind about it.

The Red Bull snuff brand is completely separate from the caffeine beverage brand though.

I wasn't so much deterred from trying elixyr because of the smell factor as I was from stories of people getting the jitters from it. Then again I dont drink anything but coffee, water, and iced tea so anything branded as an "energy" boost outside of the previously mentioned beverages is not really for me. Although if was into that kind of stuff I might consider giving this a try.

Anyone ever get jittery from it?

sm0ke42o, one of the most magical things about Elyxr is I get NO jitters from it. Unlike the Northerner attempt, which made me feel very ill.

Give it a try, you wll be surprised at just how good it makes you feel.

                              Northerner Energy/Oomph Energy=fail.

However, Elixyr Energy is the nectar of the gods. Its like the feeling you get running through a meadow on a beautiful spring morning. Or the way you felt when you opened up that first Christmas present as a child. The beauty in the Alps, the majesty of the deep seas, the splendor of the deep, lush forests of the Amazon, and the joy in the heart of every man and woman on payday (or insert other special day name here).

That, my friends, is the joy of Elixyr.
