Invent-A-Snus! If you could create a snus...

You can create ANY snus, ANY strength, any flavor, portion/los....the options are endless. What would YOU like to see?

1.) Thunder Frosted (white) (portion), also Thunder Frosted Los
2.) A GOOD Coffee/Vanilla/Espresso Snus (portion)
3.) Lemon/Lime Snus - I think it would be refreshing, that with a hint of salt would be great with a beer. (portion)
4.) Dark Chocolate Snus - Much like the Nordstrommen los variety, I think a portion of this would be a great creation.

A few ideas. I'm sure I'll have more as time goes by.

I honestly don't feel I'm missing much from the standard flavors. I'd probably go for a juniper lös like the old LD Blue was. Otherwise, I'd subtly tweak some existing blends, maybe as a limited release. Ettan with the chocolate notes boosted would be good. Not WOW this really tastes like chocolate!! but hmm, I really taste some chocolate in the back there, but the tobacco still comes through nicely...

I knew there was something I was missing, and I completely forgot about ginger. I was thinking of that a couple of weeks ago. I'd love to have a snus with a SUBTLE ginger flavor. That might go well with an Ettan base also. I'm gonna put some thought into it, and see if I can come up with a homemade solution. Maybe finely grated ginger mixed in with lös? I don't know if they have natural ginger extract, but that would work well for portions.

go to an asian store and get a ginger grater, one if the little ceramic ones. I was thinking it'd be really good on skruf (i haven't tried ettan yet) myself.

the grater would rend a lot of juice which would impart the flavor without adding chunks, with the added benefit of being able to bootleg some ginger portions.

I'd like a snus flavored like the flavor of dry-roasted peanuts. We already have pepper and salt, so just add a few spices like paprika and it would be delicious.

I dunno, with the failure of Skoal Snus....who knows how that would go.

But the Skoal snus was actually terrible, so maybe Cope would do it right.

you know what would be good - a more full pomegranate. the mocca one is pretty tasty, but the portions are tiny. a regular would be awesome.

Ditto on the Pomegranate! And of course a coffee/vanilla or just plain vanilla one since Offroad no longer makes coffee/vanilla. And there's always raspberry and chocolate raspberry. Strawberry has already been done thanks to Tom so that's no longer a wish list item! :wink:

How about a vanilla-orange combination? It would be like the orange creamsicle the ice cream truck sells! Just make it slightly sweet, not overpoweringly sweet.
