The "Original" pictured above is what became "Mellow", right? If so, I really wonder what the "Spice" tasted like. From some of the people I talked to online who tried it (I was never in a test city), the Spice was the best one. Then the "Frost" after that.
Camel came after I found snus, so it was always more of the novelty thing for me. But I loved spice, even if the nicotine wasn't that great. Hard to describe, but the spices cut the sweetness a bit. I Still had some up until a few months ago, Camel never gets too old.
But if they still had spice, I would still be buying a can a month. Used to be my favorite desert snus.
And yeah, I long ago threw out the round cans I had. Sorry.

The Spice flavor was definitely the most tolerable of the three. Now the only flavors available are Mellow (tastes like maple syrup) and Frost (tastes like toothpaste and mouth wash).

Original was similar to mellow, but it was different. It was sweet without the burnt taste of mellow. Spice was like sweet cinnamon -- like big red gum.
I never got to try Spice since they had discontinued it by the time Camel did the nationwide roll out. Sucks, because that was the one I was looking forward to. Mellow is not that bad, other than the completely retarded price for a tin. :?
