ES will never get old never tried the portions but I am crazy about the los.
I got my order in one day... fastest order yet. I am not sure how I feel about it yet... it's rather bland for my tastes. I dig the original kanel portions. Still, gotta love the nic kick... can't complain at this price.

I did a lot of Odens extra stark when I gave up smoking and it has completely turned on me. Great for giving up smoking when you NEED the nicotine but for a more mature snusser I think lowering the dose is better. By that I mean it's more enjoyable and I don't get the buzz off it that I used to.

The only Oden's I've tried is a can of ES Kanel lös. I didn't realize it was cinnamon at first, I thought it was just funky. I really liked it, though. It had a sort of interesting burn, and its kind of grainy texture worked well with the overall effect. It's the hardest lös to bake out of what I've tried so far. With some major pressing I got it to cooperate with the prismaster, and I eventually managed a few decent prisses (now that can't be the right plural :x ) by hand toward the end of the can. I got several mouthfuls of crumbs (crumbs is the right word for this lös, I think) in the process, though. Still waiting on my icetool.

I've had the Kanel regular lös, and it's /ok/. I'm not the biggest fan of cinnamon so I was pretty leery of it anyway. The cinnamon's very mellow, and some have said they'd like it stronger; I disagree. Any stronger, and it would overpower the snus, and you wouldn't get any tobacco flavor. I think the flavor level's perfect, as it compliments the snus without stomping all over it. For someone who likes cinnamon, I give it an A+. I doubt I'll get it again, but that's personal preference.
As a side note, the tin's very nice looking. I like the Nordic totems on the lid, and the label colors and font are very appealing. The tin is the typical V2 cheapy, but it looks quite nice :^)

i never got a reply from northerner to my question but tonight i went there and did a test buy for Oden's ES Kanel and it said "in stock". so i ordered a few cans to be shipped regular postal. it is always slow getting to me but maybe this is a good sign for us who like Oden's ES Kanel. i just hope when it comes it's not some old dried out stuff someone found in a backroom or something haha. i don't think it will be, it looked like they had quite a lot of it on hand.

Oden's Kanel Ekstra Sterk Review
I have been looking forward to trying this one for a long time, and have been enjoying it for the past week. The original Oden's Kanel has been a favorite for quite sometime, so I thought I would step up and try the next one up. And it did not dissapoint. Now, in case anyone was curious - Kanel means Cinnamon in Swedish. Oden's Kanel ES is a strong, strong snus. It weighs in at 17mg of nicotine, and that makes it one of the strongest products on the market. Thunder Frosted is 16mg, General ES is 15mg, and Skruf Stark is 14mg. Oden's is a product of Gajane Gross KB, a relatively new snus company. An interesting side note - "Odin" is considered the chief god in Norse paganism.
Now, a little about the snus itself. Oden's Kanel ES comes in a very cool can. A sleek black with the Oden's logo etched into it. No used portion catch lid, so that was a bit of a bummer. The smell upon opening the can is a mild earthly flavor with hints of Cinnamon. Now, before I talk about the flavor, I want to discuss what I consider cinnamon.
Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the bark of a certain type of Evergreen tree. When I used to cook alot, I had pure cinnamon in stock all the time, it was one of my favorites. I would grind up the pure cinnamon with an herb grinder and use it to season chicken, beef, and some vegetables (it's great with acorn squash). I like cinnamon as a flavor in and of itself. That's what I was hoping for in Oden's Kanel ES - NOT Cinnamon as most people would think of it - Cinnamon Sugar Seasoning used to season French Toast. I was pleasantly suprised to see that Oden's Kanel ES is seasoned perfectly with pure cinnamon, not the overly sweet type I was hoping I wouldn't find in this product.
The portion bags that Oden's Kanel ES comes in are of the same type V2 uses for many of their Offroad portions. Very, very comfortable and soft. The snus is fluffy and pillowy, making this one of the most comfortable portions I've tried to date. The flavor comes through mildly at first, the pure cinnamon flavor pairing gently with the tobacco, a light flavor of salt, and growing as the flavors mingled the longer I had the portion in. The nicotine hit almost immediately, but what do you expect from a 17mg portion? The flavor, however, didn't last as long as I would have hoped, I found it only lasted about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour, which isn't bad, but not what I was hoping for.
Oden's Kanel ES is a great snus. A mild tobacco flavor mixed with the flavor of pure cinnamon. Very comfortable portions. The only downfall is the flavor did not last as long as I had hoped for. But in the end, something I have found myself reaching for quite often.

I've got a review for you.
THE STIFFY IS BACK.
Seriously. I put an Oden's ES in my lip and immediately got half a chub. When the drip started I went full chub.
For real. I thought the only thing that could do it for me was Skruf Stark Los, but it turns out Oden's ES is the real Sniagra. It has a great burn (the snus, not the stiffy) and the taste rocks. This is probably my favorite sterk at this point in time. 02 is a good sterk, but not in that "omg I just got kicked in the nuts" sort of way like Oden's, more of a "tally ho chaps, I just got a dose of the old nic, eh what? Pip pip." sort of way.
I'm looking forward to trying the cinammon next time I need a pick me up, knowhatimean?
