        Yes.
Yeah, they are. I'm actually rather embarrassed to admit that I voted for Schumer. Even if this doesn't pass, he's lost my vote next time around.

Well, it doesn't look like they have another business meeting scheduled for the rest of the year, so maybe that'll be the end of it.
Why I have been counseling not panicking over this since day one. do reserve the right to laugh at every single person who bought snus in a panic if this doesn't even make t through committee this year

In my own defense, I didn't buy in a panic. I'm just obsessive. :P

Hey maybe this is a Swedish Match scheme to get us to buy more before the end of the year.

LOL, I am NOT talking about general hoarding. I am the guy who has had as many as 100 cans in his freezer!!! I am only talking about those folks who said they were specifically buying because of fears about the PACT act, and I do remember each and every one of you.

before my getsnus order got it I had a half a roll of Ettan White, lol. I just don't care enough to hoard. The novelty of this stuff has ran out for me a looooooong time ago.

Sage, you can laugh at me! Yesterday I ordered 40 cans of Grov, 200 grams of Whiskey and Honey, and 200 grams of Fubar Grunt. Seemed the practical thing to do at the time! My local Food Lion has more 5 oz cans of Scotch than you can imagine, a darn good selection Too. that's OK though I still have my Heckler and Koch model 91 and 5 thousand rounds of ammo from Y2K, and that back up power system has come in handy. I am just that kind of guy, rule wisely they say.

Well, I completely understand the Whiskey & Honey. That sounds like a 2 weeks supply for me if I would let myself use as much as I wanted!!!

But the Grov??? I would freeze a bunch, using that much of it, I know I would come to hate it sooner than later

I'm not paranoid, but concerned. I appreciate these updates on what happened today. Hopefully this thing will die for a while.
I have extreme concern because Swedish Snus is the only thing
that can keep me from going back to Cope/Grizzly and all the problems that those can cause.
Most of you ****ers are lucky in that, at the very least, you could buy
Swedish Snus locally if this Democrat-sponsored garbage were to pass.
I would have to drive like a bat outta hell for 2 hours to Nashville just to buy some $6 a tin General. Alabama will be the last place in the universe that Swedish Match starts marketing to.
BTW Sage, I didn't place any huge orders out of any stupid fear of what might happen this week with the PACT Act .
But I am well stocked with .357 if things continue to deteriorate in this country.

Well, the new Camels are coming, so it wouldn't matter none.

Non-compliance has zero consequences. Why in the hell would I not just give a different, vague, broadly inclusive description on the customs label and save my business?

I am UPS Sweden or Swedish post. Compliance means that I lose all the sales figures for this portion of the industry. I could care less what the American shirts are doing on their side of the pond. I am responsible for my figures and my territory. Why then would I not turn a blind eye and ask no questions when I pick up the package, especially when there is zero risk to me and zero advantage in complying? Let the boys over in the USA weed it all out since it’s obviously their crusade.

This is not like Lucky Strikes. There are no international trademark laws involved. This is not like the EU ban on snus. The USA is not in the EU.

                                It is unenforceable.

And on our side of the pond, the expense of policing snus and snuff sales will far out way any advantage gained. Outside of a few confiscated packages (which I was buying for the collectable value of the tins and not the tobacco contents) life will go on. So divide your large orders up to insure that if something is confiscated you will not lose everything.

                                We shall see
You would think so. I would think so.

I would also think that the Europeans could give a damn less about the Empire's bizarre Cuban embargo.

And yet, here I am, very much unable to order Monte Cristo and Romeo y Julliete snus from Buysnus.

So, yeah... For some reason, they do go out of their way to enforce moronic US laws.
