I did a search on the web for the nicotine content for American Camel snus and supposedly it has 8 mg. I always have at least two so according to my fine SC edjukation, that makes 16 mg. Please tell me the hit is stronger on the ES versions of Swedish snus.
I tried finding more info on Grizzly pouches but all I could find was it was higher than other dips. That didn't tell me anything.
My wife said my order from BuySnus didn't come in so hopefully it will tomorrow. I was so hoping it would have come in today for my Friday night marathon gaming session. I bought a can of Grizzly today because the Camels just don't provide a buzz at all.

It's funny, during my first 3 odd weeks of no smoking and only snusing, I was all sterk/extra sterk all the time. Onyx, Skruf Stark, Thunder, General ES, Nick & Johnny, Claq Qui, you name it. Now, roughly one month in, I'm all about Ettan and Roda Lacket loose...
Anecdotal point as it is, extra strongs actually LOWERED my nicotine addiction. I pop one of those in, and can make it 4 hours literally without thinking about smoking or snusing. And the Sunday I quit smoking was followed by our busiest time of work ever, non-stop up and to today (and the foreseeable future - damn flu shots!), and I'm hanging in there like a champ. I take breaks out to my car, walking past easily purchasable cigarettes and turning down co-workers offering me smokes, and don't even SNUS much less think about smoking at work the majority of the time anymore.
So maybe I'm a quick adjuster, but now I can't even keep a N&J in more than half an hour without needing to spit it out, much less General ES. Before I would pop a snus in when I woke up, now I can even make it to work hours after I awake without a 'first snus'.
Sorry to ramble for so long but figure this can help quell your fears of nicotine grabbing you by the balls. I was exactly the same way, though I will admit I still need sterks at this point for occasions where I imbibe libationsWhatever it takes, if we've gone this long without cigs might as well do what we can to keep up the good work!

Originally posted by jadedcynicI just tried a General ES portion for the first time today.I was very impressed. I haven't had a nic hit like that since I first started snus. Man, it was great!
I'm thinking about saving it for special occasions, or at least having no more than one a day. I'm afraid if I start using them regularly I won't be able to enjoy a regular portion anymore. I can still use minis and get a pleasant feeling from them every once in a while, but they definitely couldn't be my go-tos. I guess I'm just hoping that I don't soon feel that way towards regular portions. I know most of you enjoy sterk and extra sterk portions from time to time, so I was wondering if they affected your attitude towards regular sized portions. Have any of you gotten to that point where regulars just don't do it for you anymore?

Absolutely. The Thunder/Odens family have the best, longest lasting, nicotine release of any sterk I ever tried. Skruff Stark, like being bitch slapped in the face with it. Not really what I am after, I would smoke if I wanted that.
But why I was so excited about Thunder when Xobe let me share in his test snus. I knew it was just something never done before.

I'm going to try the Thunder Frosted in my next order. I look forward to it! Thanks again for all the helpful feedback people.[/quote]
This will BURN like you've never had a snus burn in your life, but I don't mean the bad kind of burn (like in your pants after waking up next to a girl you don't know and never wanted to, for example).
Me and a buddy were playing Madden and gave the Thunder Frosted a test run, and we (seasoned smokers, cigarettes too :twistedwere getting murdered by it. Then we started laughing about what it was doing to each other, in the process inadvertently squeezing the portion and making the burn EVEN WORSE (better). We forced ourselves to keep it in for a good half hour, but holy crap was it worth it. Best nicotine buzz ever...I turned down a cigarette that night for the first time in forever and never looked back.

And Sector Clear, that's a great story! Thanks for the heads up too.
