Tom, I do have to say that I think you are the only person on this site that likes the Tourney. No one else, that can think of, will admit to it. I couldn't believe what I was reading when you mentioned that a few weeks ago. Its just another testament to the fact that we all have different tastes...........and some of us have none.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

They are now and then really yummy..
I usually like straight, but grab mint now and then for a treat..
Well, there is a real time review of the original, not much taste, didn't care for the flavor that did come through. It's not as sweet as Camel thats for sure. Was a little salty, and really really dry. Taste was really super mild plain tobacco. I wouldn't turn down a free can, and for 1.50 I don't mind the money spent on it. I'll use the whole can without crying about it. It's not disgusting, just nothing to go out of your way to get. Nothing special.

Well, I don't love them. But for what they are, an American brand, available at the gas station, for around $2 a can, they are not too bad.

            Yup,
I'll go along with that opinion. Can't complain about the price..
            It is what it is..

I don't know why exactly, but I keep hoping to see an American company make a snus that is a rival to the big name Swedish brands, with broad availablity, and a decent price.

SnusAB was the company that made Tourney and Grand Prix. The Swedish brand was Roots(formerly Kicks). I had a few of the Swedish made snuses, and I didn't really like them. The best that I had was the licorice lime lös. It felt like sawdust in the lip, and it was bulky, but also felt like nothing there at the same time; a really strange sensation :^/

Was doing some running around today, and stopped for a Dew, and they had some Grand Prix for 1.50 a can, so I grabbed one of each to try, Original, Spearmint, and Wintergreen.
They weren't refrigerated, and no expiration date. Don't care for that, haven't tried them yet, but was wondering, how do you know when Grand Prix goes bad? These are really dry white portions.
It goes bad at it's moment of conception

I don't think the cigs were made in Sweden. Grand Prix/Tourney snus has a connection with Lucky Strike snus with the name Liggett, if I read what I read correctly.

Grand Prix/Tourney snus? Yes, they are American brands. I buy Tourney Snus locally at Speedway/Super America gas station/stores.

                                No connection to Lucky Strike.

Liggett Vector was having them made by SNUSAB
