Got my order today from Northerner. It had been ripped open, hastily re-taped, and 3 cans opened. US Customs sucks.

i ordered 10 cans. Claq qui and General Exstra Sterk were still in the partial plastic sleeve and untouched.. The loose cans of General original, Skruf Stark, and Nick& Johnny were all opened. They could obviously see the tins weren't opened...Just trying to look busy I suppose.Comment

Interesting. I've had my orders opened by customs roughly half the time, but I've never heard of them actually going as far as cracking open the tins. Maybe the guy at the department that day was bucking for a promotion or something.
Either way, it sucks. I don't want to put something under my lip that has had some govt. goon's grubby mitts all in it. :xComment

Funny you mention that happening as my last package had been torn open as well. They didn't open anything but they did fail to re-tape the bloody thing when they were finished violating my privacy. Customs is the biggest load of feel good BS I ever saw, every year untold kilos of various illegal drugs and contraband flows into the US virtually unfiltered and in the meantime they tear open and nose around in US citizens private mail. :roll:Comment

Of course Northerner didn't send them opened. Those folks are top notch. This was done by a government goon. No harm done as snus was still nice and moist...I am really digging this Nick and Johnny Strong. I am chain snus'ing them. I'm a little weird in that I have tried a dozen or so different brands of snus and have yet to dislike one but this stuff is a cut above imo. Claq Qui is great. It has a super great taste. Have you had General Sterk? I think it's sorta like if Claq Qui was a white portion.
I have some N&J in the freezer but haven't gotten to them yet.
I'm trying to reserve the sterks/starks to once a day, usually the 1st one.Comment

I haven't tried General Sterk yet only Ekstra Sterk. I've read in other threads that you think it is bland. So far that is my opinion also. Its not bad at all, just a bit boring. I have put general sterk and thunder frosted at the top of my "to try" list. Don't forget to let us know what you think of the N&J.Originally posted by tom502Comment
