One, she wouldn't. Is a smoker I am trying to convert with Discreet.

    Two - it's different.

She would never ask me to quit anything, not why I would do it. If I am in a relationship, I always want us to be on the same wave length. I wouldn't want to spend my days in a different *space* than she is. MY issue, not hers. I had a 17 year relationship break apart because we ended up in different places (Not related, my ex smoked almost as much as I did). Still, an issue I am maybe more aware of than many. So *if* something comes of it, how I would handle the subject.

Ok, well if she smokes then she's ok. Thought maybe it was one of those crazy Straight edge people that won't take any type of medicine, alcohol, nothing.

Aw Sage, didn't you read in the good book - "Thou shalt not be unequally yoked with non snusers?"

Good luck on that. I've seen a few people try and do the same. I think Discreet's a good bet for that, I gave some to my mom and some girls I know that smoke and they're actually liking it. Once they get past the "It's not dip?" phase.

I gave her some last week, haven't heard anything, don't know if she has even tried it yet, won't ask her, just made sure she had the option

I couldn't bring myself to toss empty tins either. I had no use for them, but couldn't see just throwing them away like some discarded cigarette pack. So they went into a plastic box.

The other day I was going through that box - and it struck me how many of the brands/tins ARE NO LONGER MADE. Hmmm. These tins might become a collectible footnote to tobacco history, depending on the next decade of anti-tobacco legislation.

Many brought back fond memories of using them to quit cigs two years ago.

Anyone notice what Joe Camel stuff is selling for these days? In antique stores? Yep. How much for this Vertigo Cuba Gold, this SkoalDry Cinnamon, this ...

I have saved at least one can of each on I have tried. I also have kept about 30 metal cans of OR. Seem like my wife might have some craft project laid out for them. Why not, they were nice cans even though they were not as air-tight as the plastic cans though much better than the brittle plastic that I got and still obtain from a large snus manufacturer.

Snus cans seem to change all of the time as well. Retro went from a nice smooth plastic case to a cheap, utilitarian type of can. Not sure if I saved one of the new POC retro cans.

Maybe I'm a packrat? I was looking the other day, and I've got a bunch of them, I think I've saved EVERY single one.

I have saved all of mine; the only exceptions have been the SM los tins for obvious reasons. Everybody thinks I'm nuts, and hell.....maybe I am, but there is no reason to stop now.
