What exactly is Gots Green supposed to be?

Not even sure what's in it let alone what it's supposed to taste like. I just know it's kinda weird...what is it?

I always thought it was a taste of apple. Bitter apple, but still apple.

I was wondering if anyone else picked that up. It's like one of the green ones.

        Northerner lists it as :
        Category: Portion Snus
        Flavour: Elderberry
        Type: Green
        Character: Greenery

        BuySnus lists it as :
Grönsnus is a very tasty snus with a hint of Gotland’s lush green plants. The taste of elder is the characteristic of this snus.

        GetSnus:

One of the tastier snus varieties in the Gotlandssnus portfolio. Simply translated, flader means elderflower, and while most of us don't chew on elderflowers on a daily basis (or even an occasional basis for that matter), you may find the flavoring of this snus to be a touch on the eccentric side, but not overwhelming. A very traditional tobacco flavor with a flowery undertone that has you reaching for more. Medium in strength and a long-lasting flavor.

From my review on my blog:
"The taste is very interesting. Many snuses mature the longer you have them in, and go from one taste to another, but this one is quite interesting. It starts out mild, a slight apple taste which matures into a really nice sour apple. The longer you have it in, you start to pick up the taste of figs, and....plants. I can't describe what plants, but this snus has a great natural, earthy flavor."

A side note, I sure do wish they'd release a los of this.

What's the Yellow like? I had the grey, it was OK, but I'm not an anis fan.

It has a lemony/citrusy flavor, but not like bergamot. I kinda likened it to a mild version of the lemon pepper seasoning.

I had to fight through a can of yellow, and never did finish it. I couldn't stand it. Tasted like lemon dishwashing liquid to me. I would be interested in a Discreet Lemon though.

I could taste some type of flowery thing at first, but not quite sure about the bitter apple. Who knows...maybe it'll grow on me :P

I hate licorice, but the grey is pretty good for a change, and the yellow seems like a plain unflavored type of snus to me. The Gots Yellow was actually the first los I tried and it seemed ok to me. Some say there's too much of an ammonia smell to it, but I didn't think so. When I want something unflavored, it's one of the few that I'll reach for.

That's what it tastes like to me also. I like all the Gotland products, but the Flader is my least favorite of line. I'm a huge fan of the Gul and Grå, both in portions and lös. The Jakobsson brands I also enjoy, with the IceFruit being in my top 5 favorites.

I like mint snus, but not fruit so much. I like the IceFruit because the flavors aren't very heavy. The characteristic Gotland bitterness comes through, and there's still tobacco flavor in the back. It makes a nice dessert snus in the summer when I want something light.

im not much of a mint snus guy, not that i dislike mint, but mint in my snus i cant get into. however, icefruit i very much enjoyed, and may buy a can in the future. id like to try classic jakobssons. i know youve said gotlands los and portions taste very different, should i just go ahead and get one of each next order? ive only had the gray los once, and it was pretty good, but im not sure if i want more. i dont dislike anise, but i certainly dont pine over it either.

i would def check into gotland's green. it's very good.

and i didn't care for jak's classic not much. the icefruit was good the first 10 portions or so, but after that i haven't craved it since and that was like 6 months ago.

I like the Gul a bit better than the Classic, but if Gul didn't exist, Classic would be in my top 5 favorite portions. If you want lös also, I'd suggest a tin each of the Gul lös and portions. It might be interesting for you to compare the differences.

Grey is the only one I haven't tried yet.
