0102 Review thread.

I got a roll of 01 and several cans of 02 and LD white yesterday, too soon to tell but they are all worthy of being in rotation, I am spending some enjoyable time with the LD white, I think they are pretty darn good! The 01 is interesting, it takes me a long time to figure out what I like, and why. I have been rotating Grovsnus white, original, and camel white, along with Lucky whites, and now 01 and LD whites. I think they are all great in rotation. Throw in an occasional onyx and Grov black, along with Odens Kanal with coffee and life is quite bearable snus wise. I just am starting to think that I cannot use just one brand/typesnus at all. I love los but gave it up after staining issues, I believe the los is very irritating to the gums.

That's pretty strange. So far, 02 has never juiced on me. After an hour of use, the portion will drip lightly, but not anywhere close to regular portion or los snus.

If others are worried 0102 will be too dry, you can always increase the moisture by drenching the portion in your saliva while its in your upper lip. After about ten seconds of being submerged in saliva, the portion will drip similar to regular snus. I prefer keeping it on the dryer side, since the flavor will reveals itself, regardless of moisture.

Yeah that kinda wild since I was a Los head, then all original portions, and I always hated whites!!! I just let my taste buds override my brain. I was real surprised when I started in on whites. I still love los but have hygiene problems associated with the los use. It was Grov white that showed me what a white can be, and it was Ettan white that made me shun them, I still do not know why the Ettan whites are so bad, Ettan los is sublime.

Snus is just funny. It isn't what you expect to like that wins out if you really give everything a chance, really listen. Just takes time for your natural preferences to rally emerge

well got both 01 and 02 couple days ago. So far only tried the 02 for about 5 portions. Very pleasant...nothing that knocks my sox off but something that could easily become my pop it in and forget it everyday snus. VERY comfortable and the flavor is just there for a good period of time and very pleasant.

I always assumed after I went hog wild trying every snus under the sun, I would come to a point where 2 or 3 would just always be with me. That list is slowly coming to be and I can easily seeing this making that list. I figure in another year or so that so called list will have it first final incarnation lol.

It was not so long ago that I would read a review of what ever Sage liked and cross it off my list because I had found that our tastes were so different from each other, and they may be again, we are aligned somewhat right now, and it is a shame because I am really digging Lucky Whites right now. No can get, and I have two fresh rolls of Lucky regulars, but it is the whites that really rock my boat. I always avoided whites after Ettan.

My first really burn out snus was Grov Black, I have three rolls of them, but after a month they are back in rotation. One day I love something, then too much juice, or too much salt, then everything is fine again. I have given myself over to constant rotation, and really enjoying the consistency of snuffs, they always hit the same, but snus can be finicky, and there are very few yummy ones, just very tolerable maintenance flavors. The only ones I really enjoy is Odens Kanal, but only with coffee, by themselves they are harsh.

Now that I have spent several days with 02 and gone through a whole can of it I just wanted to post my thoughts on it.

At first I was a little dissapointed, I just thought that it tasted bland, though it did have a very good nic kick to it. I kept trying it though and after a while I began to be able to pick out the different flavorings and have come to appreciate its subtle flavors very much. I now will say that it isn't bland, it is just very neutral. I think that it has a flavor that one could use on a daily basis and find it to not ever turn on you. I would agree with the others here that it has a very earthly, outdoorsy flavor to it.

As others have stated, the portions are the most comfortable I have ever tried. You can easily just forget that you have a portion in. It has definately turned into one of my favorites, so it gets an A+ for me.

Got my 01 in the other day. Nice tobacco - not sure where the "hints" of oak are. To me its just good 'baccy!! Anyhow - very nice. Not drippless to me - I play with the portion, manipulate it, fold it, etc. Good flavor for sure.

I'd like to see it even slightly thinner - if that makes it longer that's fine. But take 1 1/2 millimeter off and they'd be pretty cool to me.

Otherwise - just a nice snus that with the smaller portion brings them that much closer to taking over the US snus market (IMO).

I think this lauch is more about portion size than anything. I have used camel snus(reynolds u.s) and prefer the fit to a regular portion. Swedish snus flavor/flavour with reynolds fit.... NICE.

I also like the simplicity of the can. KISS "keep things simple stupid"

However, the NON-DRIP is complete BS.

It does take a lil more time to juice but it definately does, which is a good thing IMO because the flavor is good, but its the typical General, SM or whatever tobacco taste.

If youve had General youve had this too.

It does seem to have an oak or smokey flavor too it and maybe a lil bit of a subdued citrus flavor but its definately a standard snus profile and is nothing special.

I only put this on my re-order and keep on hand because the portions hide nice in the lip and you cant tell you have one in, which is perfect when you work with ppl like I do and cant have the upper lip bugging out.

02 is awesome. The flavor is inoffensive and certainly acceptable, the nic is solid and hits pretty quickly, but the portion shape is WONDERFUL.
