Great review chad, answered all the questions I had that the various teaser articles didn't. Your description of the taste and smell definitely piqued my curiosity and I appreciate the heads up on the preorder. Thanks for guinea pigging it for us

So when you say herbal are we talking like Tre herbal? Or is the flavor totally unique to this snus?

it is very unique. the only thing i could compare it to was gotland's green, and it's way different than that. i don't know how they stumbled across this, or picked this flavor to do, or whatnot, but it's really unique.

I'm not going to pre-order as I have 100 cans already. But this does seem good, and I'll get some eventually.

Gotlands green gives me a lot of apple hints and Ettan more smokey hazelnut hints. Both of which I dont really care for being in my snus.

Does anything flavored like that come through strongly in the this snus?

and Tre Ankere is described as having dark earthy tones which I thought was not bad. Any similarities?

I only compare it to Gotland's Green because yes, I do get the apple hints, but I don't get them in snus. Moreso on the Gotland's I pick up the natural, earthy flavor, and by natural and earthy I'm speaking more of herbal/plants/nature, things like that, instead of the taste of the tobacco, which isn't too strong in this, and doesn't overpower the other flavors 0102 has going for it.

They're 1g portions, correct? The difference is that they're slightly longer and thinner? From your review, they sound perfect for my tastes. I like the thinner size, too. Maybe I won't have to fold with this one. Nice work, Chad.

Curious what is the list of ingredients that are listed on the side of the can.

I know the flavorings are lumped together as a single ingedient, so no useful info there. But. What I'm curious of, is there a new ingredient that might give us a clue to the secret behind the no drip feauture?

Up until now it's been propylene glycol and glycerol that keep snus moist and also give it texture.

I tried asking, they're keeping that part under wraps.

So how long does the flavor last?

The reason I like whites over originals is, even though the flavors may be a bit more muted, it last a long time. Not unusual for me to keep a portion in for two hours.

After using this on and off since I got it, I have found it to stay strong in flavor and length. Although not something I'd consider as a full time snus, it's def good to use a couple of times a day on a daily basis. It's replaced Gotland's Green as my daily occassional, which I thought would never happen, so I'm pleased to see it's lasted so long. I can't wait to see what you guys think of it!

That's one of the problems with your reviews, you seem to like something new all the time. Remember Thunder Frosted? Or whatever new Catch came out. Sorry, Its just like your in my face all the time, all of a sudden, that and sucking up to Sage, pathetic! This has been on my mind for a month now, sorry for the negativity, its just the effects these types of personalities has on me. We do appreciate your contributions, its just that you need to slow down a little, experience takes time, quantity is not the equivalent. I apologize for any hurt feelings, just tired of holding this in..

I know we all have our own tastes, but I wonder why you said this:

"Although not something I'd consider as a full time snus".

                              What makes it not?
Full time snus for me is:
                              Luckies
                              Ettan
                              Grov
                              General
                              Camel(SW)
                              Skruf

I try alot of stuff. I have a large collection, and I'm just now catching up to writing reviews of alot of the stuff. There's some stuff I don't like, if you've read all my reviews you'll see I also have alot of negative ones. But usually when I try something new, I like it. I have a large list of snus that I like as does any other snus user. Part of evolving tastes, it's common.

I don't suck to him. But if I mess up, misquote, or say something wrong and he calls me out on it, I respectfully acknowledge it and apologize. Part of being accountable for your mistakes. It just so happens that he catches them when I do slip up.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however something like this should have been addressed privately. Negativity like this isn't helpful or beneficial for a community like we have here.
