Remember, snus predates refrigerators. Maybe it was used to "stabilize" the plant material?? regardless, in a few weeks, you will hardly notice the salt anymore.

Anyways, RRK, you aren't alone. I hate a mint flavored snus. I can mostly tolerate Thunder Frosted. And the Discreet isn't terrible. But still never my first, or second or even third choice.

So my favorites out of the bunch are Ettan and Grov. Followed closely by the Probe whiskey. Then the Nick and Johnny followed by all the Generals. Oh haven't opened the Kronan yet.

Yes, don't trust your initial reactions. In the beginning I thought GR1, General White, and Grov all tasted the same. Now they're miles apart from each other. You won't really notice the salt after awhile as well. I had my first N&J last night. I tasted similarities to General, and a pretty good nic kick in the arse.

I can tell most of them apart. The Grov and Ettan are pretty similar and all the Generals taste about the same but its been about two weeks and though my tastes may change I can still taste a difference in most of these.
